Expand Your Vocabulary with The Ultimate Male
Greetings, CyberGeeks.
As you already know, The Ultimate Male has made it his personal goal to help improve the pathetic lives of all CyberGeeks any way that he possibly can. TUM believes that by helping to expand your limited vocabulary, your chances of escaping your CyberSlavery will dramatically increase (along with your chances of ever actually holding an real conversation with...get this...a real person).
So, CyberGeeks, go ahead and take out your pens, pencils, or PDA styli (styli is the plural form of stylus, which TUM is certain you were unaware) and pay very close attention.
Today's vocabulary lesson will focus on the word...Homonym
Now, TUM chose this particular word as a result of the feedback he received while using it in one of his always-witty posts. Almost immediately after TUM's message was posted, TUM was flooded with IMs from CyberGeeks everywhere wondering about TUM's sexuality and asking for TUM's Age, Sex, and Location (A/S/L in CyberGeek language).
Take note, CyberMorons...A homonym has absolutely nothing to do with sexual orientation! You must understand and accept that.
Just to prove to you that TUM is speaking the truth, here is the official definition of a Homonym from Wikipedia:Quote: Homonyms (in Greek homoios = identical and onoma = name) are words that have the same phonetic or orthographic form but unrelated meaning. If they are the same only in one way, they are called homophones and homographs respectively. In derivation, homonym means the same name, homophone means the same sound, and homograph means the same letters.
Since many of you mindless CyberStooges probably cannot comprehend that definition, TUM will once again assist you by translating it into more simplistic terms so that you may be able to understand. Homonyms are words that sound or look the same, but may be spelled differently and have different meanings. Homonyms can be further broken down into two sub-categories, homophones and homographs.
Homophones are words that sound alike but have different meanings. For example, plane and plain.
Homographs are words that look alike, but have different meanings. For example, bank (where money is kept) and bank (the land on the side of a river).
Now, I do hope that you will take the time to incorporate the correct definition and proper usage of this new term into your extremely limited vocabularies. With each term that you add to your word arsenal, you are exponentially increasing your chances of holding an intelligent conversation with a real person, and quite possibly, a potential real-life partner...more specifically one that does not require pixels, a hand pump, or a vivid imagination in order to exist.
So, CyberGeeks, please check here every-so-often to ensure that you are making progess in expanding your vocabularies, while also continuing your ascension out of the depths of the mindless CyberAbyss. While you are busy learning all of this new information, never forget The Ultimate Rule...

he just wants to look intelligent, cuz in reality he has no idea what homonym means and just copied out of wikipedia to seem more intellectual. but we all know the truth, by attempting to "educate" us he is trying to draw out someone who is less intellectual so he can sattisfy his massive ego.
(typical straight men, they're all the same )

Free Your CyberMind...The Rest Will Follow

Mrs. NiceGal erroneously stereotyped:Quote: he just wants to look intelligent, cuz in reality he has no idea what homonym means and just copied out of wikipedia to seem more intellectual. but we all know the truth, by attempting to "educate" us he is trying to draw out someone who is less intellectual so he can sattisfy his massive ego.

You must cast aside all stereotypes and prejudices, while keeping an open mind at all times. Knowledge is power. Allow this knowledge to pass freely into your mind, and you will reap its benefits.
If TUM's goal was to demonstrate his intellectual superiority, then TUM would have gone ahead and corrected your atrocious spelling, grammar, and punctuation in your last post. However, TUM's strategy is to elevate all CyberGeeks to a level where they may transcend their Cybergeekdom.
I also agree that all typical straight men are all the same...from the waist up!
Make sure you return tomorrow for your next vocabulary lesson. Until then, never judge a book by its cover, never judge a look by the lover, and...
