I eat something different everyday. I try to eat 2 different kinds of fruit a day..but fruit is just too expensive and i kinda got tired of bananas and apples. In the mornings 2 slices of bread with chocolate pasta or peanut butter, afternoon 3 slices with cheese and somesort of meat,in the evening mixture of vegetables, potatoes and meat, pasta's or indonesian and I try not to eat anything after 8 and normally succeed LOL!
I have to keep a close check to what i eat because I breastfeed my daughter so its important to eat healthy (YAAY 5 months!:-/)

I think it was meant to be chocolate paste
In my food preference I'm vegan, so I don't eat meat, fish, eggs and milk products. And I eat mostly organic stuff too, lucky I'm in New Zealand and found an organic wholesaler, so I send an e-mail order and get it delivered to the door for a price of buying non-organic stuff.
Morning - usually either a muesli that I make (oats, raisins, nuts, seeds) or some good bread and jam with red bush tea.
The rest varies. I often make diced vegetables (some of which are grown in the backyard) on a covered pan. Other frequent options are miso soup with corn/noodle/wheat, quinoa, pasta, beans or chickpeas, buckwheat, rice, etc. I also grow sprouts in a jar.
I also make a life potion (HOMM name) in the morning which consists of apple cider vinegar, blackstrap molasses, aloe vera juice and water. Very good + lots of iron.
I became vegetarian about a year ago and vegan about half a year ago, by personal choice. Sometimes I'm lazy to shop (even by sending an e-mail!!!) or lazy to cook, otherways it's all good in the healthy eating department. I try to balance iron, protein and carotene, just by feel - not eating same mains few days in a row.
EDIT: Bah, forgot fruits. Apples and pears mainly, and grapefruit tree is in season right now - it's some kind of hybrid because they are somewhat sweet and quite addictive.

Im quite the opposite..
I've abandoned agriculture completely say for a few vegetables now and then. Other than that Im a pure Carnivour, eating mostly meat and things like that. Since I started this diet I've lost 11 kg in 8 months and feel alot healthier.
Agriculture is a sham! If you cant chase it - don't eat it (except some vegetables).
1. You have to kill hundreds of vegetables to feed a family for a week. - Only one cow.
2. The cow is killing vegetables all day - you are saving them by eating it.
3. Its more honorable to eat something that at least has a chance to escape.

i would eat any type of meal as long as there is cheese flavour or cheese taste in it, except for sweets and deserts. i like to make my own meal, put weird stuff and discover new tastes, sometimes even my parents like what i make, or at least i think they do, i don't know . favorite drink, iced cappuccino or chocolate shake, just like Homer says, Hmmmmmmm....chocolate. my rate goes to, dude i will die of cholestoral in a few weeks! on my tomb stone it'll say 'honorable died of cholestoral', lol .

Well, I don't eat much, but when I do eat, it is almost entirely random. Cucumber, mozzarella cheese (sometimes breaded), apples, lettuce, chicken, raspberries - sometimes with bread and peanuts, crumbled bacon, carrots, Caesar salad, salmon, peaches, nectarines, occasionally steak which I eat rare to medium-rare, oranges, vegetable juice, lemons, garlic... yeah, so, basically whatever I find that I like. I really couldn't tell you how healthy or unhealthy all that is, though. The only thing I can tell you is that I have recently reached a personal record of weight - 117 pounds, and that I have had a few iron deficiency problems in the past.

Val you should eat meat. At least it will help you think better.
*After eating meat, val goes back to his good old self and decides to ban soccerfeva, which is agreed among all HC members, young and old, as a good and wise decision.*
On a more serious note: You've gotta make sure you get your proteins from other sources, you know! Have you got that covered? A good source would be soya beans.

I eat just about anything that tastes decent, fills the stomach and doesn't make me sick. Various breakfast cereal or musli is a frequent choice, not just for breakfast. I have no idea how one could eat musli without milk though . Meat is perfectly okay, as long as it's not too fat.

Oooooh! Ideological battle! Draw yo swords! :P
Since you are an idealist also, I challenge you to these!
Quote: 1. You have to kill hundreds of vegetables to feed a family for a week. - Only one cow.
2. The cow is killing vegetables all day - you are saving them by eating it.
3. Its more honorable to eat something that at least has a chance to escape.
1. Producing meat is very inefficient - cows are only about 10% efficient at converting plants to meat. If the same land was used for growing human-edible plants, 10 times more human food would be produced. Read up on it. By making a cow you are killing 10 times more plants than you would do by eating them directly. So you kill 10 times more plants using the cow and you ALSO kill that cow in the end. tsk tsk
2. It's like saying that the person who hired a murderer is not responsible for the murder. If you didn't eat cows, less would be bred to kill vegies.
3. It's more honorable to kill that cow yourself rather than being a coward and paying other people to do it for you. Would you have the guts? Chance to escape in conditions where humans made sure it wouldn't... hmmm...
4. Pumpkins, fruits, nuts, potatoes, grains etc - plenty of things that don't need to be killed to be eaten - plants make fruits deliberately to feed animals/humans and get them to spread their seeds.
And don't worry sf, I got those things covered. Soya, quinoa, bread with hummus, etc all have the complete proteins.
Woock, heh yes at first the idea of dry museli was weird, but you just gotta chew it longer, and after a few times it becomes nice, now I probably wouldn't go back. Oh yeah and of course it's gotta have enough raisins in it.

Wow there actually is a chocolate pasta
well anyway i'm pretty unhealthy when it comes to food, most of my food is pretty sugary, i do eat meat but i feel guilty everytime i do (but i feel guilty when i eat fruits and vegetables as well). I think the only healthy part of my diet is that i dont drink alcohol and even though most of the food i eat is unhealthy i dont eat alot.

Your point 4 is a full win hehe, ur right there.
But the other 3.. have the pre-assumption that the eater of the cow takes full responsibility for the entire chain that lead to that meal. In todays cynical and division-of-labour world the end consumer has little control over the breeding and killing of cows. Sure, the need creates the supply there..
But, since cows already exist, you can view it from two ways. 1: If we stop eating cows they stop breeding those killmachines. 2: I havent bred any cows directly, so the more I eat of them, the more I contribute to getting them off the planet.
All other things being equal, eating a cow removes a cow. Then the causality between eating and breeding comes into play, but thats secondary
Still, I eat meat cause I think its healthy for me. If I only eat vegetables I would not be happy
