Hi! My Name Is...
Jaeme Newton
I like art , Music, Playing Games, Watching Anime, Eating, and playing with my Kittens.... Aslan & Ozma.
I am married to Brady. He likes to Paint and write Poetry. Actually he likes a lot of the same things that i do and he's very supportive of me and my art & music.
I work two almost full time jobs... One as a Movie Store Maneger... The other as a game artist...
I play music around town and around outlying towns. Here is a site where you can listen to the music i play:

I really like her artwork!... very nice.... she's kind of a mix of Brian Fround meets any brown... I love how flowey it is... and how it seems to move...  ... I think i had seem her art before... I love watercolour myself... but my pieces are brighter... i dont know if you got to check any of it out on elfwood... but if you do id like to know what you think okay?... do you have any galleries of your artwork? Id like to see some if you do...

I've just recently picked it up again after a long time...It's amazing how fast you lose touch, but also how fast you pick it up again.
Very nice gallery you got there in Elfwood 
I've been a frequent visitor to Elfwood but recently am more into Epilogue and Deviantart..easier surfing imo.
Do you know the comic Elfquest? Ginger looks a lot like Leetah

Welcome To HC Jaeme. I see from your Myspace we dont live too far apart ( I live in Mobile, AL)
While i myself have no artistic talent in Art, Music or Poetry, i have been told by several people i am a pretty decent writer. I have written several fan fictions for seperate games over the last few years here at HC. You can dig them up if you wish.
Your artwork seems really nice, and again welcome to HC.

I've finally found the time to see your artwork and I must admit it's great. I thought the best drawings were those based on documentation (mostly photos). While the original layout in pencil is OK, I understand your best points are ink and color. One can tell a lot of love was put into those.
Anyway...

I must say you're the first I know of that also knows the comic! Yeah I have a few of the american comic (not hardcover and black and white) It's pretty good.
Amber starts her own pack . Unfortunately cash was running kinda low so i couldn't afford them anymore 
(the american cost 15 euro a piece!! )

Have i heard of elfquest? hahaha.... I've only read it maybe three times all the way through.... the older ones, not the fan based ones... but i love them. I never looked at ginger that way. I guess because i drew her from a photo of my husbands sister.... but now that i look at it... yes ... she does kind of look like leeta.... hahehe

yup... i love the older original elfquest better than the fan based one... but i like it also.... my RA and Bestfriend in college had the whole series and introduced me to it... i spent two days reading it all non stop... skipped my classes and everything... and then a couple of years ago one of my roomates had the hard bound copy and i read it twice again.... i love it. Its my favorite comic of all time....
Ive recently been getting into manga. these are some that have cought my eye:
1. I's - the artist is really good with shading and very original considering that it is a manga and still has that quality to the artwork... the story is about this kid who is in love with this girl at his school... its really funny...
2. Full Moon - o Sagasnowe - the artwork for this is really whimsical... very flowy and enchanting... its about a young girl...12.... who made a promis to a friend to become a singer and then she find out she only has a year t live unless she gets a surgery that removes her voice box... she meets some funny charators that make her dream a reality and so forth... its really indearing to read... and i feel like her sometimes... although i dont have just a year to live... but i am a musician and singer and i want that to be a career just as much as art.
3. Othello - the artwork in this is just beautiful... still looks very manga but very different and simplistic but with a very nice clarity... i love it!... admire it!... even want to *secretly* .... combine it with my own style... but will never do that because im not that kind of artsit and have my own style... but it is great!... the story, again, is about a girl who wants to sing... but throughout her childhood... and since her mothers death.... has been made to feel like she shouldnt... so she winds up getting two personalties... its really funny becasue i can realate to that!

Hmm i've never really gotten into Japanese art - Manga, Anime, Hentai, whatever they call it these days.
And I know this may have been answered already but what exactly is elfquest? a book? What is it about?

manga = comics
anime = cartoon/tv shows/movies and such
hentia = dirty stuff (earmuffs and eyemuffs stuffs)
Eflquest is about how elves became part of earth, legend, and why. Very good stuff.... really cool ideas... Wendi and Richard Peni are the original creators... but fans liked it so much that when wendi and richard desided enough was enough.. the fans continued on with the stories. It's really detailed... you should check it out sometime...
