Hi again...
So, now I have tried out your interesting theory. I started the game, let the intro movie run, opened a single scenario, played 3 or 4 moves, saved. Then I runned the setup file, which is located in the same folder as the exe-file. Then I rebooted and entered the zone. But still the damn snow won't detect Heroes on my harddisk.
So, we have tried deactivation of all firewalls and even virusprograms. We have tried direct connection through TCP/IP. We have forwarded the ports. We have tried to set up a DMZ. And for my part, neither Gamespy nor MSN-Zone or any other online gaming software is able to detect the game.
So... I think we are running out of options, or?
Still, I'd appreciate some last thoughts from you, my fellow members and players.
