Hello everyone,
I suddenly realised that I haven't introduced myself yet, so...

Hello all!
I decided to register with the Heroes Community too. I've played HoMM I, II and III a lot! Then came Heroes IV, I bought it the first day it was available... 
Never been soooo disappointed about a computer game. I played it for a week or so, and then quickly switched back to HoMM3. One of the reasons was that they promised a multiplayer option, which they didnt provide (at first). But the main reason was that the HoMM-feeling didn't come while playing. I say, I like the graphics of part I, II and III better than IV, since they tried to make it look like 3D, while it was still 2D. Heroes didn't have specialities anymore, that sucked.
I am glad to read that HoMM V will be based mostly on HoMM3. I'm already excited about it, and hope that it'll be as cool as HoMM3, but then with better graphics. Because there's little in the HoMM3-gameplay that can be enhanced further, it is sooo good!

I'm soo glad to be here! I've seen HC as a guest many times,and,believe me ,i was never happier to see that thoudsands of HOMM fans and players are members of it.
As all HOMM games were good,there's a Comunity for their fans.This is perfect1 My friend really don't like heroes that much and it was very bad to play all by myself all the time.But now I'm herenow.Drakondeus is a tribute given to Drakon,i've played spoils of War with him.
As for what i tink of H4 ,its good and bad.I expected to see oland and Gelu out there building a new Erathia,it wasn't that bad but neither good.Still.i'm glad i'm here, Fare thee well!

How do I remove myself from the reply notification? I thought it only was to my post but I get notifications to my e-mail everytime someone writes in this thread. So how do I remove myself?

Zealot6, why do you want to get notifications on YOUR posts? Anyway, they are received when you check the respective box below when posting, I'm not sure how can you stop them, probably if you post once more and make sure you uncheck that box they won't come to you any more.

Hello there, just thought I'd say hi, I just found HOMMiii in my shelf and installed it -- just finished the tutorial and the first scenario of the campaign, and I really really like it. I am looking forward to this community here, you all seem nice so far.

I got into the homm3 online addiction just about a week back. Had to take a couple of days off work just to get my daily rythm back :-P
And People say that Civ4 is addictive. Homm3 laughs at you Sid!
Well, if I can cope with the addiction and remember to eat and stuff like that, I might actually stay here for a while. Usually I'm in the zone between 16:00 and 23:00 weekdays at GMT +01:00. My nick is Gorguss4.
I play mainly Oracle/ToH/WW.
One thing I've noticed is that the community is very mature, which is nice since I consider myself a in the transition to old school at the age of 23. It's nice to play against nice calm people who's not like "lol, fag, n00b lol111!1" everytime you use more than 1 minute in your turn :-P

Hello, (just popped in here to say hi). I am from Australia although I hold a Chinese citizenship. I have been a freat fan of Strategy games and I am perticually addicted to Heroes of Might and Magic. If the future please don't turn your backs on my posts and please don't throw any fire against me. Thank you.

I know one guy in the zone whos nick also is "Blitzkrieg". I wonder if this is an international word already, coz originaly itīs a german word related to war. Could anyone enlighten me here?

It's listed in every English dictionary. We also use it in Serbo-Croat for a swift warfare.

Angelito, the German blitzkrieg warfare in the WW2 is well-known everywhere, I think. We don't quite have the word in our Romanian dictionary, but we have "blitz" (slightly differently written, with Romanian "tz", but meaning "flash-light" - photo cameras, also used in chess for naming quick (5 min) games. Along with a bunch of other circumstances regarding quickness.

I've been playing Heroes since I was a kid, and still I like it! Mostly I play Heroes 3, but I hope Heroes 5 will be better, since I didn't like Heroes 4 at all...

Btw, is Heroes THAT old you turned from kid to man since its appearance till now? Gosh no, it's just me who came in contact with the game as an old guy , in 1999. But hey, if I think twice I also was a kid around that time. Hehe...

I'm new here. i was looking at my brother playing heroes I it looked very boring first time but when i began playing it i thinked it was a very good. then heroes II was the new game i liked that too and so after some time my brother said it was a new game called heroes III with angels and golden dragons i was hoping of getting a chance to play that and i got that chance too i liked stronghold first but my br was destroying all my bases so fast with his dungeon i began to try dungeon out that was cool so now i use dungeon, necropolis and inferno but when wog came i was using castle with that strong commander i thinked i was undefeatable then the computer showed me ogre leader that was cooler but i changed to dungeon and that two others i used brute and i found out more about wog and commanders i only have one question more can i ever be able to make my own commander??? this is true
