Poll Question:
Which Heroes IV campaign is the hardest?
i was jut wondering...despite the creature choice stuff,Heroes IV is still a good Heroes,i concluded that when i played the campaigns.Which was the hardest? Which had the greatest challenges for a hero?How many of them got in the highscores?many questions with 4 responses.Which do you choose?

I would have to say the Death campaign "Half dead" is the most difficult. A Pirate's Daughter is the best to me, though.

Never really finished any of them, but the impression I've got is that The True Blade is easiest, and A Pirate's Daughter hardest.
But the farthest I've gotten is to map three in The True Blade, so I guess my opinion doesn't count for much, eh?

what a shame terje! just don't tell me that you haven't finished HOMM2 campaigns too.
I have only finished life and might campaigns so far. i've just started order campaign but i'm having problems with the first scenario.

Half Dead
sorry my Poll didn't include Half Dead campaign,i had to choose between Half Dead and The True Blade i played both on Expert and The True Blade was hard in the second,third and fourth map.In Half Dead,to me it seemed easy to kill Kalibarr.

Heya,
thort I would add my 5 c worth aye....
Ive playd them all but I have never completed one ov them...
However I have to say that I have reali enjoyd playing the True blade....if thats what its called...
so yea...it was hard for me because Im still new to the game but yea...

The True Blade is quite easy though, however im also experiencing some problems with the Pirate's Daughter.
Im stuck in the scenario 2 i think. I must kill the player blue and green[i think] to past through the border guard so as to buy and boat and kill the pirate lord there. However, after i explored the whole map[central and eastern side] and killing and capturing all enemies towns, i still cannot past through the border guard. Maybe there are hidden units somewhere but i cannot see them.

If I recall corectly, the only way to get to the pirate is through the whirpool... That takes abit of your army though.

Definitely Pirate's Daughter. I don't know why,but I just can't overcome it. And YES,with the help of walkthroughs.

I also vote Pirate. as well as for The true Blade, it's by far the easiest.

my opinion 2 hardest pirate's daughter and gauldon half-dead (undead campaign), others i finished very quick on champion!

I've only tried the true blade and the barbarian one, and I must say that the barbarian one is very harder.

It's hard to say which is the hardest one...
The easiest is by far "The True Blade", I have just finished it twice without any problems whatsoever.
The hardest one...
Well, A Pirates Daughter is easy, if you don't mention the first one, haha. I allways have problems with it 
But then again, I have always had problems with Might and Dead. It's a long time ago I played and finished them, but I remember having a lot of trouble with the first "Might" and a lot of trouble in Gauldoth Half Dead later in the game..
I feel a bit embarrased, when I see a lot of you play them on Champion level - I only play Intermediate, haha. Maybe it's because I'm such a bad looser, that I lose spirit, if I don't have it my way 
Must try a champion one soon... Just to try it...

I play on novice. but that's mabye because I havn't played for very long. the last campaign on the true blade is laughably easy. you doesn't even have to take all towns. just paledon, which conveniantly enough is right infront of you. and since you probably have 5 or 6 über heroes that's a piece of cake. and no worry loosing one, when you win the battle the local temple ressurects any guy in the last screen of the battle.

can anyone help with the pirates daughter. am stuck in finding the dragon scale.
i have searched every building, and every treasue is gone. the only thing left is the water, and i can't get a ship.
where is that blasted thing?

Apropos hardest...
I think I've just found out - the hardest game to win, is when you have to kill Lord Landrew, but he happens to have been killed by neutral armies. Well, that sucks if you've accidentally eliminated blue player 
But luckily I just had to help the enemy a little picking him up. The enemy army was full, so the army was stock, walking over his corpse over and over again, lol. Had to attack the army and make room before he was picked up. A good thing to have the "Town Gate"-spell in that case
