how about a kinda "veterans history" tourney where only players are allowed that either play toh more than X gamed, years or reached at least position X at seasons end. "maybe kinda 5+ year all times cesar" where only the best of the best - the activest of the activest of all toh h3 time are allowed to play
To be true i consider myself as a long time veteran and if anything could reactivate me then a tourney is needed that is challenging and where a lot of the "old school guys" take part .
in the past too years i was sometimes very close to start playing again - such a tourney would surely get me and im convinced a lot of other true veterans would think same.

I know I will get slammed for this, but I will make a post here regarding a reason why I think the Fest tourny didn't go as planned. It was thought to be a bracketed style tournament with at least 16 people involved... if more people come, then increase the bracket size. This gives everyone a fair shot at competing for the the top spot. After everyone signed up, it was said to be an "addicts style" tournament. So basically everyone that lives on the zone 24/7 will have the best shot at winning, where as the people that may be on for only 2-3 hours every other day will not stand a chance. So why bother? You can play 10 games/week and win every game, but not even come close to competing for a shot at the playoffs... why? Because someone who stays on the zone and has heroes installed at work, etc... may play 20 games/day and have a 80-60 record by the end of the week. This will leave all other players out of contention. If a fest game is too short to only play 1 game to advance, perhaps a best of 7 for each round would have been another option. At least everyone will still have the same fair shot at advancing towards the top spot and nobody will feel that it is not even worth trying. Just my 2 cents.

I have to clear something up. I'm not quiting because of petrus. Biased players are part of any league. I've seen them come and go in any leagues. They no big deal to me. Waste of time at worse.
I played a lot of games with petrus. Never asked for a restart whereas he asked for it maybe as many times as once a game. I came to realise that they werent ever for the right reasons. Last game it couldnt have been more obvious. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the map. Petrus i thrusted like all players i play against lied to me the whole time. I received some emails about the same situation going on still.
I play for the challenge. I'm always trying to make the best out of my good and bad starting situations. I expect my opponents to do the same. When the challenge of the game becomes to outplay someone playing cheap... i'm not enthusiast about that. If toh wants players to have a week of game playing for trying out and just quit without consequences than I'm totally out of that process.
A player doesnt want to finish a perfectly ok game... once, well ok, no big deal. Twice i think someone should be concerned. When it happens every single game i think the scheme is totally unnaceptable.
I lost interest.
Vesuvius you are right. I'm all but too predictable. As long as you guarenteed a fair league I played a lot of toh games. I never threatened you to quit. I quit. You made a choice for your league I didnt agree on and i wished you luck with it.
I still hope HOMM5 to be a great game tho. Any news about that?
