Where do I DL homm3 maps?
Subject implies my humble request.
I see all these threads with good maps, and details, except there are No download links anywhere. I have stumbled across 5 maps in the last 45 minutes of looking.
I want the top20 maps of homm3 (No expansions yet), preferably XL, I can still play medium sized maps.
Thank you for your time,
Neo
PS. Anyone still in d2 or bw, PM me. My favorite hero... if there is one... starts with tactics and diplomacy.

Check out Heroesportal.net's nice collection:

I've found almost all the maps I play there...

If you go to one of our Map Archives (and we have 10 of them) you will have to join the group first. Once inside, you can go to the files section and download as many maps as you can handle. If you are looking for just RoE maps from our group sites, you will have to refer to the "database" and type in any word you like to any given map that appeals to you, and it'll give you a description. In the ByteBandits Map Archives, we deal only with RoE, AB and SoD maps. We have our own sections for Campaigns and WoG maps.

Checking out heroes portal, very nice.
I actually came across the yahoo site before you replied very nice collection.
In the original A-C album, I made a post with a couple questions. Also, is there different ways to view the file menu in there? by size instead of name?
Thank you for quick reply preciate it buds!!!
Peace,
Neo

There are 10 fields of information when you check the database in any of the Archive Indexes:
1. Map Name
2. Description
3. Size
4. Language
5. Version {RoE, AB and SoD)
6. Victory Conditions
7. Loss Conditions
8. Number of Players
9. Teams
10.Underground
We could only give you 10 fields as that's all that the Yahoo group sites allow. :-( But at least we give the pertinant information anyway.
