Tournament Format: Final!!!
Ok, guys, here is the tournament format in its final form:
http://www.dgagames.com/HMM/Art/Heroes_IV.pdf
For those who read the last version, and want a synapsis of the changes, here they are:
1) You get 7 points for a win, and 1 point for each card left in the time bonus.
2) NO additional tournament points will be awarded for anything else.
3) If the time limit runs out, there is a formula for deciding who won the game, but since they didn't finish the game, only 5 tournament points are awarded to such a winner, instead of 7. This formula is basically all the other ways you could get points in the earlier version.
4) Sorry, no increase in the income for a town. While it does have the effect of cutting down on time, it also dilutes the bonus that Order gets for Estates and such...which is their main power. More importantly, it makes the Life Player with the Angel castle basically invincible, because he can start with peasents, level up his town very quickly, and buy an angel every other turn without ever even winning a battle.

Is there a go by for round 2 pairings? Do winners always face each other in round 2 or is it random?
If a player switches to a deck of different alignment for round 2, do we record the points searately for reporting purposes?

Players can play different alignments in each round. The points in the tournament are cumulative for the purposes of determining a winner in the tournament, but for standings purposes, he would get points by alignment.

Ok. So someone who wins round one on turn 23 with a Nature deck and wins round 2 with a Might deck with a tie break would received 14 Nature points and 5 Might points. Right?
And back to round 2 pairings...winners play each other or randomness rules?

Scoring

No. 30-23=7. So, the player would get 7+7 Nature Points (total of 14). Then he would get 5 Might Points.
To determine who won the tournament at the end of the day, he would have a total of 19 points on the day.

OK, call me confused...
"No. 30-23=7. So, the player would get 7+7 Nature Points (total of 14). Then he would get 5 Might Points."
Isn't that what I said?
