Why I won't introduce myself
First of all it's almost pointless...I probably won't see any of you guys in person,so it feels as if I'm expecting answers from a computer,not real beings.I doubt that anyone would be really intersted in hearing my or any others' stories,even if yes,there's just too many of us,you can't get to know everybody and that is just not fair...Personnaly I come here to escape and rest from my problems,to try to gather the strength to face them..I also believe that there are two kinds of people here:
1.The ones like me
2.The ones without problems (which includes bored)
After all,this isn't the best place for making friends..Or at least I think so..But what do I know?I just might be trying to be interesting like everuone else..Or not..Perhaps I think too much..
On my planet everything was much easier

Actually you might find this forum rather unusual in this regard. The fact is many real-life friendships have been formed here, and I have been the benefactor of several of them.
How much you want to get into the thick of things, as it were, is completely up to you. You can either reserve your participation to on-line activities or get further acquainted with those around you. It's one of the nice things about HC. There's a lot of flexibility here.
Anyway, here's an example of what I'm talking about:

And many real-life meetings had already happened before this thread was started.
