Favourite combos/heroes
why is your favourite hero in HOMM III?
is there a particular tactic you like to employ with this character?
---------------
me i prefer Sandro or Isra because i am a fan of necromancy and, like most, realise its incredible power, especially if you use Isra with a necro. amplifier and the Grail you will raise about 60% of units... gotta love the month of the gremlin
Although my favourite town is the Tower because of its magic enhancements and ranged units which greatly appeal to my style of play i am still rather proficient in using the Necropolis, as it is my second favourite.

Isra is good but I'd replace Sandro with Galthran
I like neela, tazar, Hack, Gundula, with any army, orren with tower, kyrre is good too, and gunnar and dessa.
I dont like tower much cause its so expensive, castle is easy, rampart too, necro kinda cool.

well tower is a bit expensive... but well worth it in the end
i agree castle is easy but it also is boring to use i find.
For each castle my hero favs are:
Necro: Sandro
Tower: Astral
Rampart: Ivor
Castle: Kristian
Dungeon: Darkstorm
Fortress: i despise this castle except for their gorgons and avoid it whenever possible
Stronghold: Hack
soz if i missed any iv been playin HOMMIV a lot lately

Please take a bit of your time and search through the Library here. You will find many many threads refering to "best heroes" and "best towns" (besides many other usefull threads). Easiest way is to look up the sticky thread on page 1 called "Table of Contents". There u will find all threads listed in a good order to have an overview.
