Collecting and Trading

Hi All,

After looking in the recent discussions, I’ve came to some conclusions about the issues above.

a) When you start collecting, you have two major options:
1) Collect only one alignment (Chaos, Death, Life, Might, Nature, and Order) in order to make a very tight and well suited deck. You can add some flavor from the other alignments but your focus is on primary force with small support from other factions if ever.
2) Collect all the alignments (my choice) in order to create versatile decks and make deck combinations.

However, choosing the middle option, using 2-3 alignments is also popular by some. After owing about 500 cards, it seems that it is not enough for option No. 2. I am planning to trade, in order to have my basic might deck well rounded and having the ability to add the benefits from other factions.

b) Trading is your best way to fine tune your deck or if you have enough cash, buy the missing cards. Trade only after your build some deck and find what are the cards you frequently use. Enclosed a proposed list of cards from general (used by all) to more specific.
1) Artifacts are very popular since they worked the minute you get them. The same is true with primary and secondary skills.
2) Trade town that don’t have the mix of creatures you want for town that do have them. There will always be someone who will need your cards and you will need his/hers.
3) Heroes, beside of different shape and gender they are the same (always complete you set of heroes from all the alignments and make sue you have a least 2-3 duplicates of each.
4) Creatures and spells – trade them for things you need. If you play might, black dragons won’t help you, but thunder birds and behemoth will.
5) Units, the best and fair way I use is trade level for level. I’ve got a thunder bird and gave back hydra, Etc.
6) The same goes for resource locations.

What do you think?

Best,
Mandar the Barbarian\Spellcaster

I'd say that covers it! Wanna trade?
