The idea is great, but the idea of a town that likes to hide doesn't sound proper in a game like HoMM, if it hides and likes peace, why in the game to battle?
History: 5
Same deal as above, the history is really nice, but has nothing really to do with now. The real reason they are in the game.
Creatures: 7
I like the creatures, not too much specials and really something to play with, to mention though some creatures are some misplaced.
Balance: 7
I don't complain about this. However I must say some specials are kind of weird and rare. But not the worst problem.
Originality: 8
Here are my highest points. The idea is great but I think you haven't had enough time to collect all the information and things you needed.

Can't get enough of 'em (mostly because they're rather similar to one of my entries)... 9/10

Relatively good overall idea. However, your history, creature lineup and race are not very well bonded. ’Abyss’ may not be the best appropriate name for your race.
Race 10/15
Reasonable. However, this race is considered more primal as compared to the other races in homm5.
History 10/15
Lackadaisical effort. I preferred that you spend more time elaborating on the characters and their origins.
If they are a peaceful race, why do they rise to power and how is their peaceful nature related to their initial arrogant nature?
Why is the dragon of water intervening with the creature’s way of life?
Why did the Nagas aid the lizardmen?
Creature 11/15
I feel that Naga do not fit into the swarm and lizard theme. Swarm dragon seems too powerful as a level 2 creature.
However, creature abilities are insanely STRONG.
Balance 6/10
Cloaking is too powerful in my opinion. Having a higher defense and cloaking ability does not tantamount to evading enemies’ attacks imo.
Hasty Retreat is imbalance, especially in the hands of the computer.
Storm Ambush is too powerful where you get a ’whole’ turn act.
Creature abilities are insanely STRONG.
Appeal 8/10
There is an appeal factor. However, this race is considered primal.
Originality 6/10
Pretty vague new ideas and reminds me of a revamp fortress from homm 3 with the reuse of creatures.
For any artworks that you plagiarize, please give their owners the credits.

Stuff to do with gaming: 35
-Creature lineup 4/10
-Mechanics 5/25
Swarmp based creatures dont mean fortress revamped.(-1) Although i do like naga still in the game, but it already existed (0) Basically a not bad lineup, besides the reusing of old creatures (+5)
your mechanics are seriously lacking, imo.
-lv 2 minuses all enemy morale by 2, defense by 5, too overpowered.
-lv 3 creature insanely damaging, if i interprete right it would mean having 10 gorgons kill 10 dragons.
-lv 4 creature that does a trail of toxic doing 500!!! damage is insane, think of 2 lv7 dying to it, think haste.
-lv 5 needless to say, insane.
-lv 6 creature with Lv5 spell, insane.
-lv 7 too powerful.
-hero abilities overpowered beyond reason
mechanics are very important to me, how versatile your town can be played, espacially with the hero skills, it will also be included in mechanics. i LOVE to see stats, as i will be able to do calculations that will pretty much show me how much dmg a troop can deal, etc.
Stuff to do with history/story etc: 25points

i dont get where lizardmen sell their silver pearls to, and how their civilization is started. History dates too perfect, makes it seem immensely fake, as if the lizardman plan to make a mistake at 500ysd.(3)
sharing same Diety as naga, saving grace. creatures living in same place, quite feasible.(8)
history and creature lineup are concurring.(5)
history and stuff, the usual. im an avid reader, so here my rating would be pretty strict.

i dont think any female players would play your town (0)
generally, i think fortress is a lesser played town, with this revamp of it i still think that it would pretty much be the same. (3)
but i like fortress (4)
im aware of homm5 going to be a sink or swim game, hence appeal plays a big part in my rating too. ive noticed not many female players play homm, due to not liking many towns, i would like the town to attract more female players too; both for the players and the money to save HoMM.
Originality: 7/20
-Based on how much cliche there is in storyline, how well your idea is portrayed, creature is new, abilities are new and basically about new stuff.
dont think this idea was very original, due to the closely existing fortress town this town is based upon.. i dont think it will work to revamp an existing town and put in in homm5, if the developers want it, they would have done it. themselves.
it pays alot to be original.
Others: 5
-This includes other stuff i want to say 3/5
nothing much to say, very few "extra stuffs". but a (+2) for a swarmp town, which isnt existing in homm5.(+1)

An interesting approach on the lizardmen.
History: 6
Not at all integrated in the world of Ashan.
Creatures: 8
A typical line-up, integrating the naga is a good idea, excellent concept art provided
Balance: 5
As it is, this faction will have a terrible time in the initial game, with no shooters and no special abilities for unupgraded units up until the basilisk. Speaking of which, the acid trail is not a good idea in Heroes because you can't choose which path to take when moving a unit, the AI chooses the shortest one by itself. Later in the game, with the Sage's Mass Haste and the upgraded units specials, the faction can put up a fight. However, the naga's hypnotize ability is overpowered if unrestricted. Claoking 4 days/week when there is no countercloak in H5 (as was with H4 stealth) is too much, I believe.
Originality: 8

Judge rating: 30 or lower.
Good start, but no involvement with other HOMM5 races in history.
Creature lineup barely differs from HOMM3. Special abilities and skills seriously need balancing.
