Some new ideas
None of these ideas are new. They’re all just fresh takes on them.
Recruitment:Not all creatures can be born from supplies. You may have to have certain attributes, skills or other things to get troops.
Corruption:This idea was to change a towns look depending on the Faction that controls it.So a Nature town owned by Nature will look considerably different to one owned by the Inferno. My idea is that new buildings/units can be made from a corrupted town.
Town ideas:
Desert Town: The Desert town is Egyptian themed, not Middle Eastern. If you're posting creature ideas, please, don't post Middle Eastern styled creatures.
Level 1: Slaves.Slaves are captives taken from enemy Kingdoms. They're only used to distract the enemy in battle, and mostly used as sacrifices for Divine Favor.
Recruitment: Slaves are generated from captured enemy towns. The more Desert towns captured, the more slaves generated.
Special Abilities: May be sacrificed for Divine Favor.
Lv 1: Spearmen.Spearmen are the basic troops for the Desert towns. They are numerous and strong in defense, but slow.
Recruitmentepends on Kingdom Power.
Special Abilities: Units with the charge ability and flying units take damage when attacking Spearmen.
Lv 2: Anubites.Anubites are the Avatars of Anubis. They are jackel-headed.They can charge to great effect.
Recruitment: Temple of the Gods, recruitment depends on Divine Favor.
Special Abilities: Charge causes extra damage per distance moved.
Lv 3: Sphinx.Sphinx are Guardians of knowledge, seeking out intelligent heroes and protecting them so that their knowledge may be preserved.
Recruitment: For every Knowledge point after six, that many Sphinx follow the hero each week.
Special Abilities: May devour opponents to gain health.
Lv 3: Priests.Priests are the Mages of the Desert, using the power of their gods to strike down their foes.
Recruitment: Temple of the Gods, how much depends on city size.
Special Abilities: Spellcaster.
Level 3: Scorpion Men.Scorpion men are the servants of the gods, and are sometimes called down to fight the gods enemies.
Recruitment: Temple of the Gods, how much depends on Divine Favor.
Special Abilities: May attack twice or attack two different opponents.Poison attack.
Lv 4: Tomb Guardians.Tomb Guardians are the protectors of the resting places of soldiers and Kings.
Recruitment: Pyramid, how much: for every five levels a hero has,one Tom Guardian is forged to protect him a week.
Special Abilities: Spellcaster.
Kingdom Power: Some units, like the spearman, will be available for recruitment in greater numbers depending on your Kingdoms power. This is because a soldier will hardly sign up for a kingdom which will almost certainly fall. The bigger and towns you have, the mines you control, the strength and power of armies will increase your kingdoms power.
Corruption by Necropolis: When a Necromantic army resides in a Desert town,or the town is controlled by Necromancer, the following effects happen:
1.Town will turn to night faster.
2.Citizens will become Paler.
3.Sacrifices will happen less often, and eventually stop.
4.More and more people will visit the hospital.
5.Plants will slowly sicken and die.
6.Citizen’s farm animals will start to sicken and die.
7.The river will slowly run dry.
8.The land will generally become more barren.
9.Graveyard will slightly increase every week.
10.Statues of Gods’ and Goddesses’ faces features will slowly change to look undead.
11.Eventually, corpses will rise and prowl around the town.
12.Mummies will be available to hire[how is not revealed yet]at the Pyramid.
I'll continue to add to these ideas, please send your thoughts and suggestions to me about how towns should be corrupted, units, towns and the other stuff I'll post here.By the way,the twelve factions are
Desert
Academy
Conflux
Haven
Barbarians
Arctic
Dungeon
Shadow
Inferno
Lizardmen
Elves
Necropolis
Please send ideas for towns.I'm going to say right now that I will not except Water town[charge for the glory of the Haven, men!to all those who can swim, fight to the death!to those who can't swim, thank you for signing up to the Haven...] or Insect town.[You will give no parry, and expect none, for our enemies are evil incarnate. As the knights expect the Demons to come, they see giant mutant cockroaches]And the Arctic has no Dwarves/Norsemen.Please don't try to convince me otherwise,I won't change my mind.I may not have all the towns listed above posted here. And don't post ideas for small creatures like birds, bugs or rats.No one could possibly defeat swarms of those things. No Forges!
Necropolis: The Necropolis is the home of the undead.
Town Layout: The Necropolis has no starting town.Instead, they corrupt enemy towns.Every town can corrupt, but the Necropolis must if they wish to have a castle. They will not lose if they are without a town for a while. They have no starting town because a Necropolis wouldn't build graveyards, nor would they build a manor specifically to house vampires. They would capture towns and use the Graveyards.Certain units, such as corrupted Ents and Mummies can only be made in Corrupted towns.
Lv 1: Skeletons.Skeletons are corpses that have rotted away. The Necropolis uses their great numbers to great effect.
Recruitment: For every map,Skeletons are randomly placed underground.[Not in the underground map]Wandering Necromancers can ressurect them.
Lv 1: Zombies.Zombies are the ressurected corpses of the recently deceased.Necromancers raise them from battles won.
Special Abilities: Plague: Lowers Iniative,Maximum Health for Battle,Range,Attack,Defence and for mages,Spell power and Spell points.
Recruitment: Necromancy Skill.Necromancy raises 100% of Humanoid creatures as Zombies.
Lv 2: Ghosts.Ghosts are Souls stolen from the Underworld. They are incorpereal, and can't be hurt, how ever, they are bound by chains which, when removed, will let the ghosts return to death.
Recruitment: To recruit: Send a Necromancer Hero with at least advanced Necromancy to the Underworld. If your hero finds a stack of Ghosts,he can combat them.If he wins,he then has the option to bind them to his will.
Lv 3: Corrupted Ent.Corrupted Ents are animated trees that the Necromancers have changed. While Ents give life,Corrupted Ents cause the undead to rise and drain the life of nearby creatures foolish enough to try and climb the Ent.
OK,Now for the basic idea behind each Faction:
Egyptian: Already revealed.Desert Terrain
Necropolis: Already revealed.Barren Terrain
Shadow: Dark Elves.Not evil.
Conflux: Elemental magic mages.Elemental Terrain.
Arctic: Snow town.Cold.Snow Terrain.
Inferno: Fire based, not Chaos based Demons.Dried Lava Terrain.
Lizardmen: Worship their gods, sacrifice to their Gods.Swamp terrain.
Academy: Wizards and their creations.
Elves: Wood Elves and their animal companions.Always hunt animals. Not peaceful at all. They believe in survival of the fittest.Woody Terrain.
Haven: Humans and Angels.Their leaders are greedy and power hungry. The majority of their citizens are relatively nice.
Barbarians: Orcs, goblins and humans and the beasts they've tamed.Orcs and humans are relatively kind, but will kill whoever fails the path of Honour.Goblins are unhonourable, and the Orcs hate them because of this.Goblins are rare, and hate most races because of the treatment they've recieved from the Orcs and Humans.Rocky terrain.
Dungeon: The underground creatures either fighting each other, are ruled by Warlocks,or are united in an unofficail truce against any invaders of their realm.Undeground Terrain.
I'm going to make like a magician and use Dimension Door.

Nice ideas for your Egyptian town but it reminds me too much of Age of empires.
HOMM is an RPG game not an economic strategy.
