If I hadn't read about the cannons not being cannons I would have given it like a 6.

Heya Sandro good luck in your contest & lets start with Creatures.
Creatures-7 The creatures are fair.
Thier nothing to brag about but thier not bad either & some is cool.
Race-8 Race is based on dwarved & you didnt do to bad.
Balance-4 ah the bad part.
No structures or heroes that I seen but wont hold that against you but based on your creatures statistics.
First of all almost every creature has a good amount of resistance,& with a powerful army, it could be unbalance.
Maybe the Sharpshooters should be at least one more lv higher.
Your Bezerked units like the dwarves & especially the Boars is just crazy.
Juggernaut seems impossible to kill.
Cant hurt it with spells cause of the tremendous resistance,the stats & the death blows makes then the best creature in the game by far .
Originality-8 It's pretty original for the most part.
Some good imagination to go with your story as well.
Your score is 32
Good luck in your contest.
EDIT: I forgot to write the history down but the points is the same as on my notes.
History-5 ZZZzZZZ Sorry I just didnt really get into the history.

Civilization of the Deep
Race(3 + 4)=7
History(2 + 4)=6
Creatures( 4+2 )= 6 sorry fungi walkers seem silly and rocs don’t fit the basic concept
Balance(3 +4 )=7 like the runecasting
Originality=6
(Plus one for use of the phrase “After ammo is gone they attack with a great maul.”)
Total Score=33
How I graded these:
Race (Originality [1-5]+Compatibility with HOMM5 universe[1-5])
History (How interesting is it to me [1-5] +Compatibility with HOMM5 universe [1-5])
Creatures (Originality [1-5] +Internal Consistency [1-5])
Balance (are the special skills inventive [1-5] + Does it have a variety of flyers, shooters, walkers, spell-casters [1-5]
Originality (all the originality scores added up and divided by two. This means that creativity counts twice. [1-10])

Liked some of your creatures, gunners could be replaced by some kind of war machine. Didn't notice a unique skill/ability.

Race: 6 (nothing is mentioned about their cities, and I don't get the ending it seems like they left underground to live in the upper-world (?), anyway i like the concept of rune magic)
History: 5
-I think they shouldn't been beaten that easly by DE, since they were on their own ground & they were never injured in bigger conflicts - their faction should have grown strong (at least to protect theirselfs);
-the reason to get to the upper-world seems weird;
-expeditions- while they are at war with DE?;
-it is too imediate for them to leave underground after millenies in total darkness, i think their fighting skills would be seriously weakened, especially the shooters)
-If they left underground- how did they get throught the corridors taken by DE
-"placing" them after the game current times is intresting, but it seems that 969YSD will be a begining of a huge war, DE would be propably weakened by it and wouldn't think of expanding their underground territories.
Creatures: 6
-Too many dwarfs;
-I personally think that earth elemental unit is bad since there aren't any other elementars in Ashan, which seems rationale since there is no section on calssic Air/fire/earth/water elements- maybe i take it wrong.
Balance: 7 (too many ranged units- 3)
Originality: 10
Total: 34
To be more obiective I've decided to rate all dwarvish towns at once (simillary as Fargoeth did).

The Civilisation of The Deep: MasterSandro
Race: 7
History: 7
Creatures: 8
Balance: 8
Originality: 7
Overall: 37
Comments: This town is actually very consistent and unified throughout its whole approach in the idea of an underground Dwarven town. Unfortunately, there already is another underground town in Heroes V, causing the originality score to suffer, but the imaginative abilities and creatures have revived it somewhat. The abilities are excellent and varied, perfectly suiting such an underground town, even if they’re not all 100% balanced (Merciless Trampling) and the Rune Cannoneers simply dealing far too much damage for their level even without the beam ability (the unstable ammunition isn’t a good way to balance this). The history was well done, but there were no defining events. Despite some unbalanced creatures and the duplicate environment, this town has potential to bring the Dwarves back into existence in the Heroes universe in the future.
Average: 36.2
Total ICTC: 73.2
