ICTC Entries Now Closed, Rating Explained
The contest entries are now finalised. Any further adding or editing will disqualify your entry.
Now the contest moves into the Visitor Rating phase.
During the next 10 days you can rate the contest entries (except your own contest entries).
The average of visitor ratings will constitute 50% of the final score for each entry, so your input is very important and must be made honestly and carefully.
You have 2 options. You can either rate on a scale of 0 to 10 (0 = worst, 10 = best). Alternatively, you can rank using a five scale system that will also be used by the judges:
Race
History
Creatures
Balance
Originality
Each on a 0 to 10 scale. Then add up the scores to have a total rating, which will range between 0 and 50.
Have fun and good luck to the contestants!
Example for option 1:
Rating: 6
Example for option 2:
Race: 7
History: 5
Creatures: 9
Balance: 8
Originality: 7
TOTAL: 36
Post your rating in the thread that the rating is for.
EDIT: Authors may not reply to ratings of their proposal, as this may influence the raters and makes the contest unfair.

I would suggest accompanying your ratings with a short argumentation, this would be very useful for the participants in the eventuality of a future "Create a Heroes VI Town" contest.

Can we respond to comments posted in our towns if this means we are giving clarification of aspects/ defending choices etc/ or giving further description? Should we not post in our town at all?

I don't think that would be proper. It would be just the same as editing and adding some more info.

That's what I was thinking, just wanted clarification mainly because I started to reply to a post before waking up to myself.

Yes, you are welcome to post explanation along with your rating. Authors will appreciate it.
Yes, you shouldn't respond to ratings because that can persuade the raters to behave differently and that upsets the fairness of the contest.

I hope to be able to read and rate all of them in the time we have for it. Every town deserve a rating.
- I you rate seven towns every day youŽll make it just in time... And who needs a real life anyway?

Or you could use the list of proposals and work your way through it - just to make sure that no town is forgotten.

How if we forget that we already rate a town and rate it again? And the scores are different! And then we can pretend that we forget, to increase our post count even more...

Yeah I won't do it either. Don't do it pals, it was just a bad joke, it will mess up the rating scores. Everybody wants the best town win, right. Even if the town is not his/her own. Right? Right?!?

Are you really enforcing this? I think people need to be warned again if you are because people have already replied to the ratings.
