Build/Demolish the Adventure Map
I have an idea about building and demolishing the Adventure Map. Write what you think about it, make suggestions.
(1) Every hero with enough experience, wood, ore and gold will be able to build a town of his alignment one square north. (A message box will appear when you right-click the square with building requirements. If hero in question has enough XP, money etc. Yes/No buttons will be shown. Else, there'll be only OK button.)
(2) If your kingdom has enough mithrill, your hero will be able to destroy a dwelling and/or create another one (from his own town, but he'll pay for it like he's building it in the town).
(3) What will happen if a hero can create a quest or border guard? It might be interesting in multiplayer games, if it's possible to remove it.
TNT, Supreme Master Arcomage of WR.

I've been thinking the same... I guess setting the properties of a completely new town might cause bugs, though.
I liked this option in Age of Wonders, where each race could hire a unit called Pioneer in order to build an outpost. It rarely pays off (in the long run only), but was fun. The Nomads even had the ability to transform their towns into caravans and move to a strategically better position on the adventure map.

I understand this is possible, even not hard to do...?

Perhaps not a quest but border gate of a certain color...
Great ideas anyway.
