Heroes V - a non-unique game losing it wonders.
OKie, now that I got your attention 
btw - didn't mean to make this post so aggressive, so don't read it as one
I don't hate what I'm seeing of the Heroes V beta,
though I find it not quite satisfing.
2 reasons:
1) The graphics:
they're nice, even stunning, very powerful.
but the creatures' models have lost the good taste,
I find them: 3Ds-non-unique-models, with no creativity non so ever.
I miss the great HOMM3&4 models(even though it wasn't 3D)
cause they weren't boring, and didn't look like every other game.
HOMM5 models look just like any other fantasy game, nothing special about them at all.
this is very sad, cause it was a great part of the game, and a great part of the fun looking at it
2)The game losing it strategy aspect and "chess"-ic charcter.
The adventure map:
It looks a lot like warcraft III.
Don't know 'bout ya other guys, but I adured that game for its "chess"-ic charcter, for the actuall strategy you did in it, had everything infront of you.
a big part of ruining it in HOMMV is the preety close camera, even with it most distanced view.
it's not like chess anymore when you see all the armies on there move, and you see what the options of each player.
and THAT IS EXACTLY, UN-DOUBTFULLY what made hereos such a great game in my opinion, this what made it so unique, and so NOT like any other strategy game.
what do you think guys(and girls) ?

Maybe everyone else likes H5.
Hey, you can always play H3 if you don't like H5, it is probably the game with the best replayability ever. I'm just starting playing it right now (I skipped it, went from 2 to 4).

Indeed H3 was awsome.
yet, some aspects of 4 are great too.
not beeing a snob or anything LOL but the graphics of H3 are unbearable for me
maybe some dedicated graphics men should try to import H4 or H4 a like models into H3
anyways...
