Thanks Maretti.
Now, with that resurrection thing with units, and all that, does this only work with spells, I mean, since Arch Angels can resurrect, would it effect that as well?

yes, works the same way. Besides that you have to be carefull that one of your own units is not killed on the same spot as a unit you want to resurrect. Happend to me once I was demonfarming, a single imp was kill on the same spot as my big impstack, now I couldnt make demons out of that stack.

So with that in mind, the Arch Angel resurrection would be considered a spell?
And would demon farming be considered a spell?
Because I thought they were just specialties for the creatures, but now that I know this I am unsure.

It's not the question if this a spell or not. The problem is, the hex, where the resurrected unit would appear again is blocked by another unit. That's why u can't resurrect or raise.

the resurrect body-block is a good point. I hadn't really taken it into account much because I don't play online (can't seem to find a good way to) and the computer rarely does it. I suppose anything can be countered, really, (some good berserk against a might hero, anti-magic or the like against a caster) and a balance does need to be struck. Same between power and knowledge.

Quote: And btw...I didn't ask you how often u cast "berzerk" in your GAME. I asked how often in ONE battle. 16-20 spellpoints a spell. Just think how many spellpoints you use in 1 battle. And then think of the usefullness of intelligence. That's all.
That sounds strange coming from somebody who puts down magic heroes simply because they have to recharge. You're assuming only one battle takes place a day, that the hero isn't also TP'ing to prepare/gather troops, DD'ing about, etc. I also think your poser is ironic because you frequently bring up how magic heroes have a weaker presence on the battlefield. Don't you think this would mean that in the case of Berserk, a spell which normally lasts but ONE turn, a magic hero would have to cast it more times just to give him that extra leverage?
My point was simply that the whole might > magic thing is out of place here. The topic is power or knowledge; Might doesn't enter into it.
As for william's point, the other side to that coin is that you can recharge your spell points. You can't boost your power in a similar manner. Sure you could use artifacts, but that's true for both. There's no comparing Sorcery to Intelligence. And not just because Expert of both offers significantly differing percentages. But because Sorcery doesn't boost Resurrection for example or Elemental spells, duration of status spells, and so on like your Power rating will. That's why I personally seek out Intelligence: It affords me the ability to not have to choose between Power and Knowledge. I choose the Power and the Intelligence makes up for my intentional slacking in the Knowledge department
I hope I don't get spanked again for saying that Intelligence is the reason for my preference

yes they're spells.
I'm not sure in anti-magic garrison, but they can't work on cursed ground.

Quote: I always pick power if there's a choice. Power makes your spells more powerful, while knowledge gives nothing important. 100-150 spellpoints are enough for any fight, while you can never have too much power.
totally agree, you only need so much knowledge, power is what wins the battle.
