Renaming this forum
Most things about Heroes 5 have already been finalised, so it's time for this forum to move from the wishing phase into game discussion phase. It needs a new name. Post your suggestions and you might be the one to name the HOMM5 forum

The Altar has been the Altar since before HoMM4. Why change its purpose and name now?
Just change the description to wishes for expansions and future sequels.

Yep, Altar could stay. So maybe Altar of Heroes or Altar of Dragons...

What I actually meant was to keep it as Altar of Wishes.

Yes, but Woock no more wishes will be made, so the name must be changed.
This is deffinately will be a fresh page of the HOMM series after 4 years, so why not name it "New age of heroes"?
Or "Rebirth of heroes", "The 5th era / age"?

How about instead of renaming this forum, Val can make a new one dedicated to homm5 and that the altar stay the way it is so people can post about wishes etc. for homm6?

Or the expansion for Heroes 5. I also think we should leave Altar of Wishes as it is for Homm6 and Homm5 expansions if any, and make one for Heroes 5 game. But first we need to know IF there will be any expansions at all, since it depends how well homm5 will be sold.

Keep Altar of Wishes as a part for everything we want to see - be it expansions or future games. Give Heroes 5 its own part.

Okie, altar will stay as it is, for wishes (H5 expansions and HOMM6). Let's discuss the best names for the new HOMM5 forum of HC.

wouldnt something like "HOMM 5: A New Beginning" be appropriate because of:
1) new ownership
2) a new game in many aspects

But I would wait till the real game comes out and we could name it after a land or a location as it is with library of enlightment...

It's nice to see all this initiative on Heroes 5 discussion!
My vote would go for a name which mimics the "Library of Enlightenment" for the H3 forum (although second place would go to "Realm of Ashan" which nicely mirrors the H4 forum "Land of Axeoth". But H5 is more similar to H1-3 so I think it makes sense that the new forum name reflects that similarity).
Unfortunately, I can't think of any distinct buildings from H5 because the beta doesn't have any.

I think we should organize a forum for HMM 5 discussion and call it Realm of Ashan , the Altar of Wishes would be for our suggestions and wishes to HMM 5 Add-on or 6th part .
