If it was ego to show off here, I would have posted these cars or whatever long ago. Or all the properties.
You see guys, if Homm5 becomes a disappointment, or dies out, ToH will remain, while other tournaments lose interest, they always fade when things are not 'popular' anymore. As long as heroes exists in some form or another, and at least a dozen people are playing, I'll keep it running. And man... all that history that has developed on ToH, from its record history, veteran info, player photos, would be a horrible shame to let go of.
About the cars: The 3000GT there sort of has 4 seats, so you can call that the family car lol. And the SL55, it is an AMG, I just gave it a few cosmetic changes.

Yeah Vesuvius, what about sharing with people Why you need 3 cars ? You could give one to sick_boy here for example...
After years playing heroes, not knowing the function of outdoor mechanical agents, he suddenly had the need for a transportation device. For what? Who knows, maybe the need to transport from one HoMM Hotseat game to another. (but that's a different story)
Anyway, knowing the basics of math (stack > 1), but not the limitation of space in real life, Vesuvius did the only thing a true ToH'er could -- he bought a stack
Since then he has tasted real life and is now desperately trying to return to the world of heroes as we know it
The morale of the story is: Don't buy a stack of cars - it will result in you discovering the world - and less time to play heroes! Beware the sunlight!

I strongly hope you have boddy guards too Vesuvius. Would be bad for ToH if someone hired some killers against you
Remember: rich people have always rich ennemies
..Thats the reason why i did not want to become rich

Nothing wrong showing what he has, it's not like he didnt work for what he has.
As far as what I learned, he earned what he has.

That's what he was talking about. How could he possibly know if it was clean unless he'd contributed to the cause aswell

Toh has lasted since the beginning. I remember when I first started playing Homm2 only oracle was around. But even then I heard about Vesuvious, his past tournament, Melissa X (one of the 1st games I ever played against her), Mocara, and a few others who are still around today.
But there have been a lot of tournaments that have made an impact on the heroes community since the game 1st came out. Oracle for one has always been around. It took a back seat to TOH in Homm3 when Vesuvious really started to automate TOH and make it the best it could be.
Also, I think my dad and I had a pretty signifigant impact on Homm2 and Homm3 as "smaller" tournament heads. My dad (Monty, "the Old One" ) started with the idea of "unseen" maps in Homm2 and continued on that tradition in Homm3 with his random map tournament "Encounters".
He would have continued making tournaments and kept his going through Homm4 and 5 I'm sure but health prevented this.
I did the "Champions of Tymeria" tournament for Homm3 and also did a tournament for Homm2. I would have liked to have stuck with it but it just took too much of my time and I had other projects I wanted to do. But I didn't end it because I didn't enjoy it or people didn't enjoy it.
There are other tournaments that have been well done and had a good following but nothing really like TOH.

Your dad was Monty?
Your dad was the reason I started playing online.
He is a great person & very hard working.
I dont know how he did it but he emailed me an invitation to join his new tournament called Encounters.
It was a great tournament for beginners like me & also for vets like Joel & his brother Jesse.
Your dad worked very hard in the tourament.
Unfortunately he over worked himself & maybe too proud to ask for help.
Eventually he had to step down & Joel took his place.
Joel soon stepped down & the cursed Dshonourable player Fogclaw took over & it went down hill.
Monty had grea ideas which no one ever tought of before & a good friend as well.
That was back in 2001 many yrs ago.
Joined toh later, built up my reputation quick & was able to be the last to join Bastards.
Hope you dad is doing well still & he rocks.

Its great that you have been around that long, and even more so that you are spawn of Monty =) I remember him... damn fine player.
I did want to clarify one thing though. The Oracle League (in its current form) is entirely new. Sure, some code from the old Oracle PCP was ported to the new version, but it is entirely different. The old Oracle League closed with the parting of Heroes 2.
I do, however, have both the support, and the blessings of the H2 Oracle Leagues admins, Prometheus and Beowulf... both of whom MAY be back for Heroes 5.

Prometheus and Beowulf
They better be back! If there were only two people on my list to play it would be those two This is my hope
btw...I noticed you can lock the computer players out of the maps with more than 2 players effectivly turning them into 2 player maps.
One of my favourite things is the "buy everything" button in the town buying screen...1 click and you are away to crush your opponent.
a side note to this is when a player is vanquished I miss being told of his demise.

I will definitely play.
Rob, I remember when you shelled out all that cash for the automation and I thought Rob is going to get something cool for 5k (or he better). Well, after the fact I thought your money should have bought you a little more. But as you say it was a "backbone". Hopefully its all tweaked up now by people that have more of an idea of what you needed for the site.
