I voted for Gameplay because you must have a good felling when you play a game. For example if you have great factions but no felling in the game then it is not funny.

If you look in the sky you will see a Red Dragon but he is not the most powerful.
The Bigest Dragon is on the Ground called Lava Dragon.

i voted gameplay... honestly, I hated Heroes 4. the whole thing got slowed down TONS, the strategies were sometimes downright stupid from the logical standpoint (Necro and Inferno in one town? come on)... the worst offense of all being a mortal hero. that just right there had destroyed the dynamics of the whole thing.
H5 went back to the Masterpiece and the Perfect game that many (myself included) grew up with and felt could never be replicated - H3. Well, they not only replicated it successfully, but what changes they brought in (skill tree system, unique racials) did what many thought would not be possible - make H3 even better. I mean this is essentially H3, prettier and somewhat more complex in terms of the greatly increased number of options. I could live without the graphics (my gf who's just getting into Heroes now thanks to moi however couldn't), but to have them is nice. This is really a perfect game. Here's hoping H6 sticks to what has worked for a decade now, too, and that the mistakes of H4 will not be forgotten and repeated.

Gameplay&interface. The wheel, the easier-to-access info, the Initiative bar, they are all nice.

What i really hate about this game is the Initiative.
It makes slower units like Golems and Zombies alot more useless than they once was. The other problem about it, it that fact that it makes some skills alot more powerfull(hero spamming Armageddon anyone, a faster dark/light magi hero, etc. It becomes balance flaws).
The grapics, not even impressed. I find too many models and city buildings ripped of movies along with little really uniqe creeps.
Interface and gameplay? The interface really sucks, once in the blue moon it actually makes it so the player MUST change the camera view because it screws over attacking angle. And the fact the Interface ince in the blue moon hides units.
Aslo the zoom in on attacks, the most ridiculess thing i have ever seen. It ruins certain attacks and spells, simply because the zoom in ruins a nice special effect animation. I want to turn it off
In the end, the only really uniqe thingy is the heroes. However losing the migth and magic with WAY to many upgrades and no really uniqe ones it is messed up. It actually got way too few towns in the end, and it got some very nice balance flaws on the top of that.
Seriusly, the heroes is like 5% more uniqe than in H IV. However H iv had class upgrades.

I voted for skill system, it brings much more variety to your heroes and is fun to build up a skill tree

It's either the unique towns or the new skill system. Actually I went with the last one.

Uniqueness between the towns is a must and should have been there right off the bat. IMO the big pointer was the way useless skills now found their place :>

Graphics: not a major issue for me, I like 3D AM though it is annoying sometimes, but not a tiebreaker
Multi: this game has almost no good multi maps. Duel is good, but multi mode should and should have been improved
Gameplay and interface: AI is not a great one, either
Unique factions: very good idea and very inspiring
but
a much needed refreshment IMO was the new skill system. Actually that's the reason I really like H5.
