I assume that you know what most people know about energy. The thing that proves that it is energy that moves us and not God is that energy can be transferred.
"Knowledge" is defined relevant information that one is able to recall from memory.

How do you know that God doesn't actually do this? (the 'transfer')
Let's say for example that you push an object. How do you know that God doesn't actually move you forward and then move the object backward?
About Knowledge:
YOU said:
Quote: Knowledge is made of atoms and energy
Can you explain me what kind of atoms does this knowledge have?
Quote: Yes, I'm sure.
And yes, I'm sure that God exists

Because, if God did that, then he'd be real, and if he was real, a great deal of other things that are certainly not true would have to be true. And it's the same sort of thing as with the "virtual simulation". It's imaginable, but there's nothing that points to it.

Carbon, hydrogen, maybe oxygen, and other things that are often found in biological compounds.

Like the whole bible maybe?...
Some of the bible has some truth to it and some of it doesn't.
Like, the old testament, imo, does not have a lot of truth to it, because some of the stories there are pretty unbelievable, like 900 year old people? come on, get real.
The point that i think Angelito is trying to get across, William, is that if some parts of the Bible aren't true, then it could be that all the Bible is not true, including the Jesus stories and the such.
I think that, if believe in some faith, just must embrace all the things that that religion offers and commands you to follow.
Just simply my opinion

Why would you obey something that you don't understand? And if something doesn't make sense, it's usually not true. If it doesn't make sense then:
1. You don't understand it; or
2. It's not true.

After my opininon, there is 2 kinds of gods.
1) The one who is born from the mind of humans ,and possibly aliens too, which include all gods on earth. (Jehowa, allah, zeus, odin ect...)They are here, so that we have some sort of explanation of the things we don't know about yet.
2) The "real" god...or simply put...the laws of physics. It created life, it created the galaxy's, stars, and planets. Its the thing that keeps this world thogeter.

I think i expressed myself in the wrong way, i'm not telling William or anyone else to believe in something he/she doesn't understand, i, for one, stopped believing because there where parts f the Bible i considered either non sensical or injust.
It's just that, if you consider yourself christian or muslim or whatever, i think that you should believe and practice at least the majority of things that that religion preaches, if not then you're something else. As far as i know that's how the majority of religious people think. Obeying things that you don't understand, they regard it as "believing in that which cannot be seen" or "faith".
EDIT: BTW, i used "command" because i couldn't find a better word at that moment, it was the word i had at the top of my head....

its ok to belive in jewduism,in islan, christianity, whatever, but killing in its name,is another thing, and IMO Never excuse, never forgiven,a man who kills for god, should be killed twice.

The laws of physics don't make anything. They were created by humans to define the actions of everything they know, and they are successful at that. They are true, as far as we know. Observation proves them. It doesn't prove God.

So, basically, you create your own religion by picking and choosing stuff out of the Bible.

Think you misunderstood me, or its me who can't translate proberly
what i meant is things like gravaty, is the "real god", because it's one of the things that makes this universe possible.
Hope you understand, because if i should deepen it more, i would confuse myself

You are good as a person, but, at least not in the eyes of a rabi, not so good as a jew, or at least that you "could do better", basically because religions are all about faith, believing in things that you can't actually see, and one of them would be the arc or any of those fantastic tales.
Quote: I think, that i dont really care what you belive in,aslong as you dont force it on anyone.

I agree with you here, everybody has the right to voice their opinions and beliefs, but they don't have any right to impose it on anyone else, i really hate it when someone says i'm going to hell because i don't believe in his/her religion

No, i didn't create a new religion, i abandoned religion because of not making any sense, at least for me. Now, i think if someone picks whatever he wants from the Bible or any other, while completely ignoring some other bits, is kinda like creating a new relgion, i see it as a "take it whole or leave it", though it's just my opinion.

They do believe in things they don't understand, that's what faith is about, take for example the posts of Istari, which, in my opinion, has defended quite well his faith: He believes that there is a God, he doesn't understand Him/Her/It, but he believes in Him/er/It because he has faith, whereas you and i lack of it...

There's something I've been wondering about for a long time. Why do religious people look upon atheistm (or even other beliefs) as something wrong, or something to be feared?
To me as an atheist (with sympathies for Bhuddism and Paganism), religious people are not people who have not seen 'the light' yet. They're people who have made a choice for themselves, and dedicate part of their time and energy to what they believe in, just like me.
