Almost Within My Grasp
Since the announcement of the Heroes V street date I have been waiting in anticipation for it's release. Several months ago I made sure to Reserve a copy at GameStop, the evil Game Lord of the States that has refused to give in to anyone...ANYONE! They bought out their only real competition and have gone so far to place two of their stores in one of my local malls. So anyway I get a call yesterday on my phone saying that Heroes V will be in stores on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 around noon. YES! Finally! The game I have been waiting for would be mine...or would it.
I got up around 10 am and took my laundry up to the Laundromat, got something to eat and headed for the mall. I went inside and found my way to the Gaming Overlords domain...that puny little geek of a man standing at the counter looked at me and said, ":Yeah, what do ya need?"
I replied, "Heroes 5 please, heres my receipt."
"We don't got it."
"Alright, thank...WHAT? You don't have it? I just got the call yesterday. They said come today. I want my game."
So I looked down upon the evil game imp and asked where IT WAS! He told me that it wasn't his fault. The store's distributer had oppsy...forgot he was sposed ta bring it today. Gee whiz little gaming store, we're really sorry. We'll bring them tomorrow, pinkie promise.
So now I have to wait until after 4:00 pm tomorrow to get my freakin game that I can't just go get somewhere else because I put a freakin deposit on the game about four months ago at that sniveling little man's hole of gaming.
So vote Mighty Mage for Mod today!

Huh? Wow, guess I kinda flipped out just a little bit. But I'm better now. I have my game and I'm already trying to figure it out. The graphics and animation are pretty cool but it lacks a certain something. I just got it so I'm not gonna start whining about it or anything. I just have to get used to the differences.
