h4 creatures are kewl
i think it's great that the creatures are so different made..caus we love this game and don't care about some small errors
whatever these creatures are we'll love them !

Id really like to see some creatures from AD&D (im a big fan of the myth part) my favorite the Terrask: a big horned creature like a Mighty Gorgon on its hind legs w/a tail of a lizard and strong as a Behemoth. Possibly a 7th lvl creature for Asylum

I Think more dark things should be introduced, Dark Fairy, Dark Manticore or Scorpicore (cant beleive they are not in the game!) What about you?

I don't know. I agree that scorpicores and more importantly Manticores (The ones in fantasy) should be back. But not in a dark version. You make it sound like an upgrade, and there are no upgrades in H4.

Really like the Manticore-Scorpicore too. They were better in large numbers though(a little low on hit points).
I think maybe modifying them to a Chimera would be really nice. Attacking mutliple units and a breath attack.

HEY! A chimera is a very different creature than a Manticore! They are both lion bodied.. but they are both different. Chimera is female and Manticore is male.
Manticore are stronger Creatures.No wonder they are dragonslayers ;o)
Chimera is killed by a human on a Pegasus. So they are weak. Every creature that is killed by humans is weak.
Manticore did not get killed. He became good but not get himself killed. Humans like crusaders and other knights all feared the Mighty Manticore who killed a dragon in a fraction of a second. The manticores in homm3 aren't good. they are weak they don't have a cool dragonslayer ability and they doesn't have a Human face. Manticores have faces of very Wise males.
I hope they will be both in the expansion.. They are both supercool creatures.. Also the chimera. Half Lioness half snake half dragon half Goat. But i think the manticore is cooler ;o) Because all you dragonlovers can say what they want.. NON of the dragons can beat a Manticore!

Scylla was a 6 headed dragon-like sea creature, while Hydras (at least the most famous hydra) were 7 headed snake-like (no feet) lake creatures, if you cut one of hydra's heads two would come out in it's place...
BTW: the hydra Herakles (Hercules) killed had an immortal head, while Scylla, who encountered Odyseus (Ulysses) was bigger than his boat...

Thanks for informing me about the Scylla, but i know my Hydras and they had 4 legs, lived in the swamps in the island of Lerna,near Greece, like in H4.
BTW: A Hydra was much bigger than hercules, about the size of a cliff!

disappointed with the picture of the dragon turtle.
i can recall some description of a medieval picture of a lion. the artist had probably never seen a lion, so his lion had a body and legs of a horse, a head and feet of a dog, a mane probably sth between lion and a horse, and a tail of a lion. this kind of attitude would be extremely nice, imho.
so we could take a darkish green dragon without wings and cover it's body with a shield ,e.g. a green (slightly less dark green than the skin) round shield with some blue and red jewels in it and maybe some minor golden decoration, and have another simple non-decorated shield under it's body, and the lower shield would be bent where the legs, neck and tail would have to come out of the body. maybe it would even have some skin between it's toes like the frog has. so it would have a long neck and a head of a typical dragon, and it would breathe steam.
..or maybe it's color might be blue-green with red and white jewels on the shield..

and the mist dragon rules. well, not very serious about the mist dragon, but it was fun looking at it :-9

It would be good if 3DO could have a look at these creatures and try to modify and upgrade the graphics of them to suit Heroes V??
These creatures are very imaginative, and could really help build up numbers for creatures.
