Indeed, these are 3 issues that should be fixed, should anyone decide to make the mod ToE-compatible. Currently, it is not, so it's no surprise it causes some weirdness.
To help anyone who wants to give it a try, here are some notes about the bugs:
- Point 1 is related to the creature xdb file having the old format (upgrades are defined differently in ToE).
- Point 2 is related to the victory animation ("happy") missing or being buggy (only the model is displayed, hence the weird pose)
- Point 3 is obvious: abilities are missing from the creature file (ABILITY_UNDEAD in particular)

After learning how to do basic HOMM5 ToE modding, I believe I've fixed all the problems I mentioned. I'm currently testing to make sure I didn't introduce any new problems.
How would I post the modified .h5u? I've never uploaded anything before.
Another question. Is there a way to modify the abilities themselves? I don't want to remove Deadly Strike; I just want to make it less overpowered, by having it do something else.

You can upload files at mediafire.com or another site just press browse go to your file press open and upload!
And unfortantly you cannot edit abilities without editing the exe and there is no one with the knowledge to do that, sorry.

You can replace Deadly Strike by another ability, though. It's quite the same as modifying it to do something else.

Mine doesnt work well the blood knights okay except he is called wight and the wraith has turned into a hideous little copy of himself with dread knight moving animation....the horror...

OK, I've played my modified DK Mod thru several maps of the ToE campaign, and I'm pretty sure all bugs are out of the mod (including bugs which pop up in cinematics).
However, I had made changes while I was messing around...
1. Added "Deadly Strike" to Doom Reaper. I figured if each unit is gonna cost $5000 (by the original modder), then it might as well be worth it (there are forts in the campaign where you could buy Doom Reapers, who were originally the game's Death Knights).
2. Gave "Cursing Attack" to both knights. Increased their costs by $100 and $200 respectively. You could cheat by upgrading to Banshee and then switching to Dread Knight with the cheaper re-upgrade fee, but you have to buy a lot of DKs at once to make that cheat significant.
3. Gave Blood Knight the Harm Touch animation as a victory animation. Otherwise these knights have no victory animations. The game has no victory animations for them, or are they hidden somewhere?
So who do I attach/email the modified mod to, again?

The preferred solution is to use a site like www.mediafire.com. It's free and easy to host your files, and you keep total control if you need to update it.
When the mod is fully tested and appreciated, I can host it on AoH to give it a more permanent place.

Oh, yes, I would really like if this mod could be made compatible with TotE. Of course, a new creature have to be made to replace the banshee, it could be called the death knight or something like that.
I would do it myself, but I havn't the slightest clue on how to mod stuff.

I just modified a little bit more stuff yet again. It looks like the revamped "Doom Reaper" was missing a few sounds and FX in the mod. Maybe they're new sounds introduced in TotE for Wraith, or something. Gotta test to see if I broke anything.

when my unit cheer 'cause of removing enemy's unit, dark and blood knight get bigger, their sword is floating next to them, horse's tail is straight. though they were not completly made by company, it looks so funny.
anyway nice job

I'll have to check the anim, but your description looks like the "happy" anim is referenced but missing (or does not fit the skeleton). This is defined in the AnimSet, if anybody wants to have a look.

Can anyone please tell me if there is a Mod for replacing the wight/wraith/banshee with the bloodnight/dreadnight/???? if there is... if not, will they release it ??

Yes, Cleave was awesome and adjusted that specific mod for me. To get the version where the Knights replace Wights, but Dragons remain go to the second page. The others have Knight as level 7, or Knight as level 6 and Wights going to 7.
Great stuff, works like a charm, all three (four, if you count the one that makes the DeathKnight purple).

Just copy the .h5u file in your UserMODs folder (program files/ubisoft/Homm V Tribes of the East/User Mods). That's it, you're done.

hi cleave well im rly impressed by youre work and i want to give you a request (if its not mean ) well id like if you can ofc to add orfinn s skins but the knights to be again in the place of the wights so i want : knights instead of wights and tier 7 dragons i have youre current mod but i want to ask you to change their skins with those of orfinn .... and the second its just curious ... can you remove the horse from the knight so he`ll become infantry? same tier 6 ofc ... but can you ???
