hi cleave well im rly impressed by youre work and i want to give you a request (if its not mean ) well id like if you can ofc to add orfinn s skins but the knights to be again in the place of the wights so i want : knights instead of wights and tier 7 dragons i have youre current mod but i want to ask you to change their skins with those of orfinn .... and the second its just curious ... can you remove the horse from the knight so he`ll become infantry? same tier 6 ofc ... but can you ???
Thanks. I'm not sure I understand exactly what you want, check this thread for different versions.
If you want Knights instead of Wights and Dragons as tier 7. Pick the version you like and simply delete Bone_Dragon.xdb and Shadow_Dragon.xdb from purpleknights.h5u\GameMechanics\Creature\Creatures\Necropolis and delete HorrorDragon.xdb from purpleknights.h5u\GameMechanics\Creature\Creatures\Necropolis\3rd. Then you'll have to delete WEEK_OF_BONEDRAGON-name.txt and WEEK_OF_BONEDRAGON-desc.txt from purpleknights.h5u\Text\WeekTexts then delete these two folders Special_4 and Dwelling_7 from purpleknights.h5u\Text\Game\TownBuildings\Necromancy.
Anyway, that's how I did it, you can find it here. I haven't tested it but it should do the trick.
I don't know enough about modding to turn knights into infantry. Vindicators would be a good basis for that.

wait dude ill explain better than ! well i have and i love youre knights tier 6 ! but id like if you can switch the skins with those that orfinn made but thats not wante so much what i rly would like and its my request is : can you make the dead knights infantry? i mean do dismount them and they`ll become infantry (with the same stats though ) i would like to have dread infantry and theyll walk like lets say squire ? i just like they to be dismounted is that ok ?
im talking about tote version ..

This mod was awesome I liked it very much but since I patched TotE to 3.1 it no longer works. Any update on this so I can use it in 3.1? Good job though!
I sent you a message but I thought I'd post it here as well. The mod should work with 3.1 what matters is the date itself since the patch you've updated your files and the mod is older so the game doesn't take the mod into account. All you have to do is to unpack the archive with winrar and pack it again making sure you keep the file extension in order to use it in your mod folder.

Hi there! First of all, thanks for the mod.
I'd like to ask two things only: is there any chance you could make an alternative upgrade for the Blood Knight? Also, the Dread Knight doesn't show up as an upgrade for the Blood Knight in the hiring menu - instead, it simply replaces it; is that intentional?

hi, I don't know if it's the right place to ask such question, anyway...
I'm trying to create a Black/Dread Knight MOD myself, and I'd like to use the winged helm black knight as upgrade... I'd like to add him an ability like the harm touch, but it seems I'm not able to add the animation.
I know the horned helm black knight has an animation, leaving the sword and pointing the hand, but I don't know if the winged helm one has the same animation... maybe some1 could give me an hint?

What are prizes for those creatures? Maby it could be done to 'install' them into necropolis instead of wraith and bone dragon? I think if reaper would be a bit strongered up (strenghtened up?) it could replace dragon very succesfully.

I know this was suggested, but can u please update this so that it has the alt. upgrade for the knights, this is honestly the best knight wraith switch mod and it would be great to have an update for ToE v3.1

Blood knigt for TotE v 3.1 + LOTA
Hi
I'm Homm fan from Poland in East Europe.
I'm playing HoMM V Tribes of the East v3.1 + Legends of the Ancients for version .3.1
I use inameSkilweel mod, DoubleEXP mod, NewBattleAreas mod etc. and all that mods work proerly.
I saw your Death Knight mod, and I decided to download it.
I tried many times to set that mod in 'UserMod' folder (*.H5U) and I renamed it to *.PAK and sent to 'data' but it didn't work.
I tried Heroes V Advanced GameMechanics Modifier, but it didn't work either.
I really like Death Knights since HoMM III, and I would glad if this mod will be work, so i hope you could help me with this problem.

Hello there.
Sorry for a necropost, however all the links to TotE version of this mod are down.
Is it possible for anyone to reupload the TotE version which replaces Wights, Wraiths and Banshees with different versions of Dark Knight? (Green/Red/Purple/Black, whatever combination really) as well as replace neutrals with Dark Knights?
I'd be really grateful.

They work both alone and together.
Visual change only, stats are exactly the same.
I also changed the adventure map references so they should show the correct creature on the map as well, but I haven't tested it yet.
Note that I gave all 3 knights the default Death Knight skin on the map as there is only that one in the code; when you meet them simply right-click on them to see what version they are.
the mod is awesome, knights look amazing but there is one problem with this and the purpleknights mod.. in this mod for some reason death knight is called ghost dragon and when i tryed to change the name of creature to death knight, ghost dragon also changes name to death knights.. that is annoying how can i fix it ? and also how can i change theyr speed and give them cursing attack skill?

I've corrected a few minor issues with this (despite being a modding noob):
Cosmetic text descriptions need changing.
The Death_Knight and Blood_Knight actually need to be the other way around, and the one of them links to the Horror_Dragon (Ghost Dragon) descriptions - it needs to link to a modded version of the Banshee text descriptions.
I cannot for the life of me fix this though:
For some reason the adventure map banshee (and maybe wight and wraith) retains its original map appearance although in the actual fight it has changed to a knight.

Dark Knights made by Arstahd need update when someone create ToE version new version mod gone please update Dark Knights mod for version 3.0 and upload file for long. Treants, Clerics, and Griffin get but that Drak Knights mod not. Wonder where is Arstahd according with description "The downgrade version (the unused Black Knight) is now the Revenant, using the Wight graphics".

Hi, Im rlly interested of a mod that included the three Black Knight types as a tier 6 necro, but keeping the same stats and skills of wight/wraith/banshees with their scythe attack sounds and the correct building information, but that seems not possible
