AT LAST! The Multiplayer Patch Is Out
The Multiplayer Bugs are Gone -- Full Complete Games are Possible Now
You can download the version 1.2 Patch HERE. Tried and tested it -- there are no more crash bugs, de-synching bugs, or save bugs with the new patch. So you can expect to start and finish a multiplayer game without worrying about any of these issues anymore. Take note though that any saves you have under version 1.0 or 1.1 will not work with the 1.2, it will revert the game back to the older version. So go to UBI's matching service and GET GAMING!
I visited UBI and tested it out. Things look good. I'll be playing this weekend. I think now TOH can truly begin going active...

- Well, I was browsing through the channels and some has more maps available than others. Jinxer and Ohms has suggested that it's the rating room 5 that's the official ToH room but that only ( to me ) gives an 8 maps option where as the standard training room gives me the full monty, so to speak 
- Whats the difference between them anyhows ?
- Guz... still needs my heroes fix for the day

Ah yes, added the war of the worlds & last hope maps. Thanks for the heads-up. So according to sphere, the training room gives the two extra maps? Standard room does not?

More maps options
Hey,
- Well what I meant was that in the rating room 5 ( and those in that section ( 1-5 ) I get an option of 8 maps total to play. In the training rooms I get an option of 1-12 ( new maps included ). but I guess it has something to do with the Ubi rating list ?
- Summary is that when we started to play SP we could click on a small icon that gave another 3-5 maps ) I know Ohms remember this as we have posted it here. So it's just a suggestion to move the Official ToH games there.. unless it's of any major importance not too. I just wanted to see some more maps played is all

Actually the reasons Standard Room 5 was picked came down to this. Basically it was due to the fact that the rated rooms have more activity. The idea being that once ToH got rolling there would be a constant presence in a room. Someone when they logged onto the server would see the "gogogo" and "opps I lost my hero so I don't want to play anymore, I'll just drop" non-tournament, Standard Room 1 and Standard Room 5 each with lots of players. If a training room was picked you can't see those rooms when you log in without scrolling and it reasons that would limit new people finding it. Add to that the number of people who would think "Well I'm a pro." and also as our room grows there are bound to be new players who have been playing ranked for some time and still will want to use that feature. That means something to some people... I'm not sure what but it does. LOL Plus if the ranking feature ever gets working like it should a lot of people would likely desire to use it.
What I do is hang out in Room 5 and if my opponent and I decide we want to play one of the other maps we move over to a training room.
Did any of this make sense? You probably should read the thread in which we were discussing this. LOL It's the UBI servers suck for finding opponents.

Personally, I think the idea of playing in room 5 is a little weedy.
If we are to attract new gamers we should definietely make our games in rated room 1, where there are always the most people.
The way I see it, we could arrange our games in room 5, if that's what you like, and then go to room 1 and create a game by the name of 'www.toheroes.com' so that lots of people actually see it, and see it often.

well thats the thing... because of the lack of a real 'chat' in these rooms, its even harder to get the ToH thing spread. It seems that the zone was a lot more friendly in that aspect. So it seems to me that it will be a long while before 'ToH Game' spreads out by name. I will be there today.

Well I am at the lobby now... I see two ToH games.. one is already going in rating5, and one has password in rating1 so can't join it. :/

although the game you couldn't join was probably Vesuvius's advertisement of the toh site.
