I've just read the modding forum, there is a lot of good things to know. But I can't explain why the computer will split more if I have the same power rating ? In my example, I was with some griffins (don't remember the number) and I was fighting mages. All I want to do is having one stack of griffin for each stack of mage. When I went with one, they were two, when I went with two, they were three, three vs four. The power rating calculation can't explain that, or I don't understand it well.
Edit : Typo.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing.
I think this guide is really helpful in terms of collecting all the data in one place. I for one thing would like to know for example the extact number of enemies we can expect from places like: utopia, elemental stockpile, crypt, and so on...
It'd be good to have such info in one place

I have only visited elemental stockpile once, encountering 15 of each type of elemental, got my army decimated so totally that never visited them again.

I don't think difficulty level has anything to do with that, I think only the size of the group matters. As they grow by some percentage each week.

Quote: I have only visited elemental stockpile once, encountering 15 of each type of elemental, got my army decimated so totally that never visited them again.
Yeah, yeah
What I meant is that I would like to extacly know what are the possible number of monsters, and what are the prizes.
The numbers differ each time, there are several 'sets' of monster, some of them are more probable than the other.
For example I had visited elemental stockpile and there were 5 elementals of each type. Which is the lowest possible I think, and the most probable too.

I could swear that they just grow at their usual rate. Each creature has a certain weekly growth (like 22 for peasants, 2 for wights, and 1 for green dragons) and I'm almost 100% sure that the neutral creatures grow at this rate as well.

Good job about them stockpiles
The power of creeps guarding mines however depends on a map. On some there are less creatures, on some there are more. Check Neihgbours map for instance. Clearly there are more creeps guarding mines than for example on Last Hope.
Also, the crypt contains not only zombies and skellies, but can also have ghosts, vampires and even liches. But I think you know that anyway.

ok, i will give more info, about neutral monsters count, exp and weekly growth in every difficulty lvl (i just cut and paste the infos from p0-data.pak\GameMechanics\RPGStats\defaultstats.xdb)
<NeutralsNotInCampaign>
<CountCoefs>

0.5

1

1.12

1.4

</CountCoefs>
<ExpCoefs>

2

1

1

1

</ExpCoefs>
<WeeklyGrowCoefs>

1.05

1.09

1.1

1.11

/WeeklyGrowCoefs>
</NeutralsNotInCampaign>
at weekly growratecoefs, item 1.05 mean at easy lvl the growth rate will be 1.05 * monster growth rate, 1.09 is normal, 1.1 hard and 1.11 heroic
now about creature banks (to long to copy paste from the file, just look it by yourself its the same file, i will try to explain a few myself)..
ex. crypt, 25% chance will contain (50:50 45skelarcher or 30 skel) and (60:40 30walk dead or 20 zombies), 30% chance will contain other definite creatures, 15% chance contains other, etc, etc, etc... what i wanna tell here is that the chance you will face horde or weakling enemis in banks is random, all by pure luck..
last about the power of creeping guarding mines and other treasure, it depend on a map
pls correct me if some infos are wrong

There are some interesting precentages of getting skills at
http://www.heroes.ag.ru/heroes5/heroes/
It appear they are correct, though I don't know the source of them.
Would be nice to put it into this guide too.
