CPU losses.
Tonight was a very humbling experience for me. My first ToH game was a loss to the CPU. Not once did my opponent hit a mine of mine, nor did he attack any hero. A true exercise in winning without fighting. *LOL*
My question to you is: has this ever happened to any of you? And how often do you admit to doing it?
And if anyone wants to know, I played on Normal setting, which is even worse. *LOL*

Man...
Computer players are unpredictable, It happened to me few times, like I have this Lots of Gold Dragons then my CPU opponent has like 400 Wyverns and hordes of Hydras excluding the annoying dragonflies and mighty gorgons! I lost the batter and was really pissed off, but anyways! They are so unpredictable. The only thing you can do is cheat but it wouldn't be a challenge!
So much for an experience!

We've all lost from the AI, for example:
* The AI already finds the grail when you've just discovered your first piece of the puzzlemap;
* see Post STILL;
* leaving your main just one hex to far from your castle (special condition - loose castle) grrr##$@%^%
But this usually occurs on hard or impossible.
Loosing on normal must realy be an Eye Opener.
Just kidding.
Greetz!

I remember playing my own map. It was kinda easy. You had an upgraded mansion and some vampires in a town you can't upgrade to a castle. And you had to kill off the others that had 1 castle and a hero with standard army each. I easily killed the first one. I went to my town and bought some more vampire lords. I went to kill the second enemy then. And guess what happened when I was halfway to him! Another enemy jumped out and took my town! There was a special loss condicion - losing that town .

I've only lost once or twice to the AI, but that was in Heroes 1 when I had just started playing.

I remember that it was a bug in the earliest version of heroes 3 that sort of "Gave" legions of level 7 creatures to the CPU. I played a custom map and had a reasonable army. I moved into my enemies territory and discovered a PACKED hero. He had at least 8766 ancients behemoths. (not a lie).

When I was playing my favourite "Realm of Chaos" map, I also met a CPU hero with legions of creatures. He had 1133 Archangels, 1066 Titans and 866 Ancient Behemoths...
