Win streaks die hard...too hard
why is it that after a great winning streak, you ALWAYS get 2 losses in a row to make the impact 100 times worse  i was gana be the BEST, but powers beyond my control "named valentin and Lord Bobby Ohms" descided to strip my dreams and ambitions through the weekend. but hey, 2 losses isnt the end of the world, and i can still become the best ever! right? i mean, 2 losses is nothing! i can learn, and i can adapt and get vengence!!!
once i was 9th place, but now im like...i cant say it...(but ill type it) 14th.
hey i guess that isnt bad when you think about it.
i have learnt
1: your a dumbass if you sacrifice half your army to make it to the water first in sub treasures
2: sometimes you can never have won right from the start
3: always be blue. i dont trust...people
i wish this post would contribute to the forum, but it most likely doesnt, just venting off some steam.
SURE if i lost my first game, this wouldn't have seemed to bad, because i would be so used to winning. GRR... i wil NOT lose again
so anyone who wants to 1v1 sub treasures, please e-mail scotty_ilikepie, im always up for a game no matter how long it takes. (as long as you promis not to beat me...joke)
am i a bad person for posting this?
p.s. "unnamed person" please record your lost to me, ill go up 2 ranks when you do 
i feel better now. for those who have beat me, know this... I WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!!! (i hope...i wish... damn im wring arent i)

you seemed (and still do) over estimate your skills ,hmmz the best?
(here's my openion)
first of all no one that plays only 1 map can ever be considered the best , part of being the best player is being versital and managing to win under any condition .
second of all 14th ,8th place , altough these places suggest something and show skill i never consider the 1st ranked player the best and 2nd as 2nd best and ect.
There are many factors that affect the placing - how many games you played ,who you've played them with ect ect.
For me i estimate a player by not just looking how many wins he got and how many losses but also who has he played and how he done against the best players..
Further more there are things that affect more like a player always picking an overpowered town and ect ect
So in conclusion hmmz you are not the best now and you are VERY FAR from proving your the best so save your word and start doing instead of talking 
(just wanna keep your feet on the ground so to speak)

EEEK dont take that seriously man! i suck! i know, im just having a bit of fun. i was actually surprised at some of the wins ive had that i thought i should have lost hehehe. just if i ever brag about how good i am, dont take it seriously, cause i never am. i was just happy with a sexy winning streak, and got sad that it went away.
p.s. 1v1 sub treasures?
the reason ive only played sub treasures is because i didnt like the idea about "capture object" to win, but it has only recently came to my attention that ToH players usualy dont allow that as a victory condition. so i can start playing other maps.
ive only ever played heroes amongst 2 people before heroes 5 came out, and the rules were, its not heroes unless
1- it takes 3 days to finish and
2- the map is VERRY BIG
what am i talking about? am i on topic? oh yeah thats right, thats why i played sub treasures, it was the biggest defeat all map, but now i can play defeat all EVERYWHERE.
i should make a poll about how many people hate me. but that would wste space...and this hasnt?

scooter you're another one I want to play sometime. Man I wish I had more time to play long games... I always end up playing RTS games because of time issues.

aww thanks man one day. one day we will verse one another, one day the earth will tear into 2 as we unleash the powers of...i mean... one day we'll have a nice friendly game of heroes and laugh as we play i duno what that was about the end of the world.

just a note..
if you go on on playing only one map, it might end up that noone will play you on it, cause you'll know it too good
-and-
you ll have trouble playing other maps, cause others will have played them several times while you none

just played first time on dragon pass
had to ask him what direction the mines were, but appart from that i think i did pretty well, it was in heroic mode and i got dragons week 3, broke out week 6 when i had black dragons, killing 60 pit fiends, and only lost 1 unit
continued on and killed enemies main hero week 7 at level 20, and all went well, so im not entirely confined to 1 map. it was his 10th or something game on that map. i pretty much used the same strategy as i do on sub treasures, kill everything guarding cool loot.
i took all mines around the castle within the first 2 weeks, but the only problem wasthe time limit, so i only had tome to start battles and build, but other than that i think i like the map. its so bloody rich though, so no matter how little money and rare resources you start with, your gana get dragons 3rd week and capitol somwhere in 2nd anyway.
WHEE i love heroes! its so so so fun!
the only problem is i only know the top half of that map so far.

You said it! How i miss the really big maps were you can build up your hero for ages. But, again, with the map editor i guess we will see some rich maps, even though they wont be as big as in H3.

Ive lost my last 6 I think. So I am currently a squire with like 1000 points
The good news though, is that when you beat much higher ranked players, all it takes are a few wins to get back up there.

the game does NOT stink, and i quite enjoy it. it may be short of a map editor but its still a blast.

He-he, i manage gain 3 losses in a row from my 6 loases
I not remember history right, but was 2 wins 3 loses, then 7/3, then 7/6, now 16/6...

He-he, there is NO common rules. All can depend on race. Way to build Capitol without delay and built good 2-nd city can be cost going to sea 1-st.

I don't care so much about people cheating, but i try give no reason to mistrust myself. In homm IV i dislike to host, and disconnects 1-st, remaining in GS.
And 3 of 6 of my loses is reports because loses to neutrals. 
So i hope no one or fev people think that i hide my lose by forced disconnect, not error.
But when things a bad or not good enough i can initiate long battles with neutrals, hit-n-run and e.t.c. things like that. And i wery impulsive person and play slow because afraid of missclicks.
Even now i remember, when gargoyles fly back in HOMM1, when i try to cast spell, tergeted on tent.

I always thought Red was safer when it came to cheaters?
You can save everyday etc.
On blue you can lose what red would do on each day.
I liked blue ecause I just hate going first
