King's Bounty
Does anybody here still play this great game? I started yesterday, and I think it's one of the best games I've ever seen. I made a big mistake today. I bought 25 ghosts. Then I gathered a little more, and then attacked a villain I had to catch. I killed all of her troops, and guess what happened! The ghosts turned against me! I lost and 400+ ghosts were left in the castle. Has anybody here had a situation like this in this game?

I play it ,but it has been a some weeks. It is very hard to play . It takes long time to catch a villan.

In the internet. I know of a polish site with loads of old games. I'm not shure if it's legal, but I got it! And only finding the first villain took me a lot of time. When you search the whole map and remember who is where, you just need to complete the army to kill theirs!

Kings Bounty
I pulled it from The Underdogs site (do a google search for the game, Im sure u will find it) Much fun for a few days althought I wish I could find the pile of game sheets I used to have from the original to check off what spell is in what town. I also forgot about leadership in the game and that ghosts (which grow during fights for opponents killed) will turn on you it they grow over your leadership ability. I like running with the suave vampires/demons and dragons, so you can fly around the map myself

...just wanted to officially confirm that all of the HoMM games (including King's Bounty)are still legal property of 3DO...in other words, simply downloading it from somewhere is kinda illegal...not that I nor probably anyone else is going to try to stop you...just giving a fair warning...

WHOA! I started playing it yesterday, too, and while attacking that sorcerer guy that blows smoke into a skull, almost the same thing happened to me. However, it was HIS ghosts that grew, and when I tried to quit, it saved the game. >

I think I know a solution. Try buing a huge group of strong monsters (e.g. barbarians). And when in battle, attack the gosts first.

Yeah, it's not legal - and if anybody wants to play essentially the same game, there's always "Heroes of Might and Magic - Quest for the Dragonbone Staff" for the Playstation 2. It is King's Bounty with updated graphics.

Yeah, where can I buy it? The only way I know of was buying Top Secret or Secret Service. I don't know which one. And for all those ppl that don't know what I'm talking about - it's a magazine about computer games. They added a CD with HoMM2 to it several months ago. And my brother's friend gace it to me. S nobody can say it's not legal!
