Hope for good changes..
edit: BUAHAHAHAH they crippled everything .. EXCEPT training and dougal+marksmen problems .. big FU to ubi-nival
- damage inflicted by the Meteor Shower spell at Advanced and Expert levels decreased
Will do.
- the Puppet Master spell now does not fall off when the hypnotized creature suffers damage; but each caster can have only one active Puppet Master
Puppet master is so easy to dispel with initiative-crippling effect that it's nothing important.
- the Fire Trap spell now sets mines in random locations not throughout the whole field but within a 5x5 tiles area selected by the player; in this area, the mines’ locations are still random

- more damage is now absorbed by the Arcane Armor spell
Oh really.. so this is the buff for academy? don't make me laugh.
- the Phantom Forces spell now allows creating only one phantom for each group of creatures; the phantom has no activated abilities, and it has the same number of ammo as the original stack
No, wait, you were meant to BUFF the academy, not cripple it..
- the Summon Creatures spell now spends 75% of the hero’s movement points (if the hero is short of movement points, the spell will be unavailable till the next turn)
I like this one.
- each use of the Raise Dead spell now makes a 20% decrease of the target unit’s maximal HP till the end of the combat
Hello 1 HP skellies. Meet empowered implosion.
- each use of the Resurrection spell now makes a 10% decrease of the target unit’s maximal HP till the end of the combat
And why is this less handicapped than animate dead? They are in love with haven, aren't they?
- the Master of Wrath perk now also affects the Word of Light, giving it +4 effective spellpower
- the Master of Pain perk now also affects the Curse of the Netherworld, giving it +4 effective spellpower
So? Those spells is still useless :X
- the Ghosts/Spectres characteristics have been changed: these creatures now have more HP but inflict less damage

- the Cavalry Commander specialization now gives Jousting bonus not for each walked tile but for the final result dramatically decreasing the full damage
What's the point of taking Klaus, then? Stupid Ubi/Nival, you should BALANCE that hero, not DESTROY him.. -_-
- the Iron Maden specialization: the Fireball spellpower now becomes 0+1 greater for each 5th level, not 1+1 for each 4th level
good one aswell.
- the Swift Striker specialization: the ATB now shifts for 0.5% only for each level
Another good one.
- the Reanimator specialization: the Animate Dead spellpower now becomes +1 greater for each 5th level only
Let me translate this from ubi/nival language: we have made Vladimir useless, enjoy
- the Poison Master specialization now works correctly
I'm so proud of you. YOu needed only three patches to fix a stupid glitch! you own dudes <faints>
- Eruina duel presset: The army was weaken a little
- Lethos duel presset: Artifact "Four leaf clover" changed to “Tunic of the Carved Flesh”.
Too bad inferno heroes still rape everything else @ duels. Nerf deleb's army, maybe? :X
- the building costs in the towns have been balanced
I hope this means that level 7 will finaly become possible to get in MP game.
- the mana cost of 3rd, 4th and 5th circles’ spells have increased
MORE INDIRECT BUFF TO HAVEN PLEASE!
- skill "War Mashines" adds hit points to war machines now.
- catapult has unlimited ammunition now
Seems good..
- Warlock, Wizard and Necromant have one starting spell now.
Wait, didn't they start with a spell already? -_-

If somebody could figure out what the building adjustments were I'd appreciate it, I hardly pay attention to those numbers except "I need x of y resource".
What was wrong with Lethos' special? How did they fix it.

Damn Ubi-Nival are really noobs. There are some usefull changes but Academy still sucks and Haven is still overpowered.
How hard can it be?!?!

try clossing all emulation cd programs... that happen to me... when I have daemon tools open... or alcohol or some other programs

Don't be ridiculous. The idea of Hero specialization is to give some small feature that might affect the way you choose to play the game, not to make you utterly and insanely overpowered. Now Klaus is no better than the other Heroes, as he should be.

I generally agree on what has been fixed.One thing though:Why on earth do they keep the changes log INCOMPLETE?What's wrong with these people?Also it's hard to make out how much the game is affected since we don't know the town costs,new spell costs and the amount of nerfing some received(meteor shower).I suppose when I install the patch there will be a lot of testing.

When using the auto-updater from the game, I get a CRC error on the downloaded patch file. Hmm, odd. I'll try the regular download instead.

Apparently the auto update doesn't work as intended when there are mods installed. At least that's the most likely theory right now.

Yeah now I can finally play as Academy...oh wait, Academy still sucks. Good thing they took away one of the only edges Academy had and replaced it with a depressing buff to Arcane Armor...who really wants Arcane Armor over summon phoenix?

Me. My arcane armored titans deal much greater damage over a longer period of time than a single lousy phoenix.

Maybe it was good they nerfed Vlad, since now its more appealing to use other heroes for necro too. But then again was it a bit too much for every 5 lvls?
