2 New Heroes 5 Maps - Battle For Honor and Hourglass
Since my other map thread is getting cluttered, I decided to make a thread specifically for these 2 maps. Post comments about the maps (whether good or bad) and post any bugs you find.
Battle For Honor - Version 1.3 - Size Big (No Under) - Players 2
Battle For Honor Version 1.3
Hourglass - Version 1.0 - Size Big (With Under) - Players 2
Hourglass Version 1.0

Hey,
- First of all, glad you had a back-up.
- I just took a quick tour through the map with 2 random heroes. And the layout is great ( a bit un-elaborated but still - great )
- I get the feeling,it's a powerhouse building map, 1 turn I actually had to steer of off the chests/resources to get to where I wanted to go ( I had the map displayed in P.Shop.) - Maybe tone the scattered resources down a bit ?.
- The second thing that hit me was the Witch hut's. I am not an experienced player but I know well enough to say that I have had some lvl 15+ heroes running round ( desperate) for that last skill to make it a killer ( after MYtaste/skill ). And seing so many resources ( which will allow you to actually buy that extra "experimental" hero ) and henchforth just use him/her just for checking huts brings me to my point. Maybe tone down the huts a bit ?
- As I started by saying, I used 2 random heroes and rushed the map, but middle week 2 - WOW I had an army o be reconed with whitch leads me to my third point - Maybe tone down the ( and yes I have learned the word now ) Refugee Camps a bit ?.
*** Minor spoiler ***
-** Also, seing that Ubi/Nival still havent fixed the "random artifact thing" ( as to what I like or would like it to be at ) the trip to the Island(s) COULD be a risk ... but this is again a subjective choice. You can start with the an artifact just as high in # as those on the Island(s) - just not the same.. if I read the script correctly ? . **
- 6tant on one of the Islands should be removed.. or guarded.
- Some critters in the underdark actually joined me ( no diplomacy ) I am not sure if that was intended but just a heads up.
- [ Edit ] I actually think you should take out the starting spells from the main ( middle castle ) or { read could}
- Minor thing, the middle garrison is a nice touch.. just remember that some can choose "favorite" enemies ( as I said.. minor ).
- All for now.
out of 5 of those ... as it is beta version.

Thanks for the response, but most of the things you mentioned were intended to be that way. It is intended to be a map with huge armies and huge stats.. and that is how the original was. This is the main reason so many people liked it and the reason there are so many supplies is that you are supposed to build 2 towns atleast.. maybe 3 if you want. But I might need to adjust some things along the way.. but thats where you guys come in testing it

Hey,
- Well I have another comment to the 1.3 Battle for Honor map.
- It may be my crappy style of playing but I have experienced, clearing the map, setting all things up for the kill ( around week 4-5 ) I run into 2x24 either way I take.. and that is a bit much for the "reward" you get in the middle. - Maybe time for that toner again ? - just a bit.
