Funniest thing that has happened to you while playing heroes
I didn't know whether to put this here or in the Library, but the library is generally more serious, and this is just story telling.
Well people let's face it, Heroes can be unintentionally hilarious sometimes. Whether it's external forces, glitches, stupid, a.i. or something funny someone on multiplayer said post your stories here and have a drink, it's better to laugh than cry!
The first really funny story that happened to me personally was when me and my friend were involved in this map that just seemed to go on forever, the a.i. was constantly finding ways to thrwart us, but eventually we pinned him down in his necropolis. We waited outside his castle, and we saw his army and we were like "well I'll go in first and I'll probably die, and then you see if you can beat him" But the next turn the A.I. decides to go right out and attack us. My friend barely beats him. I figure the enemy was weakened a little bit so I attack the castle the next turn. To find 1 skeleton and no hero!
I had like tons of Archangels, Champions,Titans, I mean I had the works, and the final obstacle was 1 freakin' skeleton, and I mean the skeleton almost had this expression like "Oh ****, why me?!"
Either that skeleton was the most arrogant creature, or he was petrified and didn't even know why he was there.
And so 1 skeleton became an inside joke, and we made a map called Revenge of the Skeleton where the final boss is a huge army of level 7 creatures and at the top theres that freakin' skeleton. And in HOMM4 we would have a skeleton run into Black Dragons with the full expectation that he would win.
Another funny thing happened when I took my labtop to campus late at night, we were doing Necropolis vs. Inferno, and we were in a battle when all of a sudden I guess the custodians of the college like to play music while they work and so this loud R&B music starts playing.
And the sheer absurdity of what was going on the screen with the music was hilarious. I mean a zombie was hacking a Devil to death and the music was like "Caannnn you feel the love tonight?!?!"
I mean in reality if someone actually saw a zombie attacking a devil in real life it would be like absolutely terrifying, but somehow at that moment it was the funniest combination of two things I'd ever seen!
The last one I'll tell is that just somethings are hilarious when you think about them. I mean I was playing as the necropolis. And my base was right near some centaur stables, and I guess people would argue that centuars are way better than skeletons, but I sacrificed them because they went with my army. But about the 6th week of doing this I got to thinking. I mean you would think the centaurs would catch on after awhile
Centaur: Hey! I've heard you've been killing my brethern and violating their corpses to raise skeletons for your undead army! Is this true?!
Necromancer:.....naw
Centaur: Oh ok! OMG lol can we join then?!
Necromancer: yup.
I could go on forever with these, if people enjoy these I'll post more

And also explains my custom status.

Well, I guess the funniest (or not!) thing that happened to me was having "several enchanters" kill my 3 behemoths.

Remember that HoMM1 map called Dragon Pass or something like that? A stack of Dragons guards a central mountain pass that connects the four players' territories to each other. I remember watching the AI send hero after hero to attack the Dragon stack, not once succeeding until sometime during the second month. I dunno if it's because of the difficulty level I set, but I found the AI's routine sacrifices amusing.

One day I playd a map Heroes 3 campaign. Heck, I don't remember the map very well but I remember one thing, a siege from the computer. Computers army was devestating and outmatchet my army with easy. But the computers hero was only level 5 and my hero was level 33. My primary skills was high, very high. I think I had somthing like 35 attack, 40 defense. My hero sucket at magic, only 10 spell power if I remember correctly. I don't recall the armies correctly but it sounds somthing like this.
Computer army:
85 Royal Griffin
130 Marksman
130 Stone Gargoyle
240 Centaur Captain
65 Crusaders
35 Zealots
25 Champions
My Army:
18 Ogre
130 Gnoll Marauder
80 Lizardman
45 Serpent Fly
8 Wywern
16 Greater Basilisk
40 Nomade
It looks dark, but when the battle ends I were victorious with only 7 Nomade and 3 Ogre left. I were suprised, how was that impossible I asked myself. I had to thank my primary skills and Fortress wall. The Markman only did 10 damage each shot and Lizardman did over 100. When i took defense on the Ogre, 130 Gargoyles did only 5 dammage! Ogre retaliate and killed 30 Gargoyles.
Now that was hilarious.
