the 11th town
According to Fabrice Cambounet, the nival team was thinking of having 11 factions in HOMM universe (not necessarily all in HOMM V). Until now we have Sylvan, Dungeon, Haven, Necropolis, Inferno and Academy. In the first expansion the Fortress has been announced(home of the dwarves). Most likely three others will be an orc\barbarian town, a naga town and free cities of the east town(humans). That makes ten towns. What do you think will the 11th town be like?

The faceless sounds interesting. But since they were decimated to almost extinction they can't seem to form a faction on their own. So an aliance having one or two faceless units is more likely.
Another idea would be the dragon knights worshiping Asha(in its true form not like the necromancers).
Or maybe a renegade wizard town which would have efreet as a lv 5 or 6.
Just some ideas.

Depending on just how many of the not-fully-human creatures created by the wizards are incorporated in other communities (we've only seen minotaurs so far), my guess the eleventh town will be swarming with allsorts

Eastern town.
A bug town might be intersting too (swarming)
A Sewer-rate people town could be done too.

The Faceless might show up to be not-as-extinct-as-everybody-believed after all. But my 5 cents would be a Swamp / Lizard city. I'm a bit surprised at this possibility of an 11 city line-up, however - when did Fabrice talk about this?

When heores v was released there was an interview, and he was asked why only six races. He replied that he and the team plan five more factions which would appear in the expansions(some of them) and the others in future games(homm vi)

Any ideas are welcome. I really can't say how an 11th faction would look like.

No, I mean the crab people from an episode of South Park, some gay guys want to turn the whole planet gay and it turns out that they are actually crab people who want to destroy the mankind with gayness.
There's also a song in that episode that goes like:
"CRAAAAB PEOPLE CRAAAAB PEOPLE TASTE LIKE CRAAAAAAABS TALK LIKE PEOPLE"
One of the coolest SP episodes ever

Crab town...so...scary
I see it before my very eyes, five humanoids with vicious abilities like cooking (making the attacked enemy too bloated to retaliate for the rest of the battle), home decoration (making 30% of attacked enemies run home to marvel at their new built-in ceiling spotlights and chromium kitchen), sharp dressing (skewering enemies with tips on how to handle those dirty, shabby boots), beautification (causing enemy to run away and attack the ugliest troop on the battle field) and smart behavior (causing enemies to go off into a corner to chit-chat about the latest Nobel Prize winners). And then of course the Crab Stick, level one creature that tastes like crab but looks like a stick, and the Crab Queen that comes with snotty remarks and snaps at enemies with her claws every now and then.
I made another town however. Have a look at it here

Didn't mean to offend anybody!
Ted!
As the Crab People from South Park were the minds behind "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", with the Fab Five gay guys to Metrosexualify the male part of humanity, I just thought I'd give an example on how the lineup on a Crab People Town would be!
If anyone was planning on doing a less zany seafood town then I surely hope my last post didn't put you down!
But just so you know, God Hates Shrimp!
