WoG online?
is there any way i can play wog online?
is there any server or something .. cuz gamespyarcade doesnt support wog...

yea man .. but i mean a server or something .. an hamachi wog server , something like that , where ppl who play wog can meet

There's a Yahoo group where we arrange casual online and PBEM games of Heroes 3 and WoG. It's called the Quill-Battle-Group (an offshoot of the very long running Statesman's Quill Heroes group).

We do use Hamachi but nobody ever hangs around on Hamachi unless we've arranged to meet to play a game beforehand.

Hmm...that's hard to say because it would require careful and repeated and very time-consuming online testing of each script to see what works and what doesn't, but in general, any script that influences combat may cause problems in online games. Some scripts are auto-disabled for human-to-human combat in online games but I don't know if this is working properly in all cases. Also, Slava updated a few scripts to work in online battles but I'm not sure his updates always worked (I've had some reports of problems even with the updated version).
As far as I know, all hard-coded options work properly except for Arrow Towers gaining experience (in some circumstances), and the Land Mine ability of Gremlins from Stack XP doesn't work properly either (by this I mean they can cause the game to go out of sync and effectively lockup).

man i check that quill battle group ... but i cant understand . how ppl agree to play there ? its more like a forum ... u can online leave messages u cant chat online ..

It's pretty simple. You just join the group, introduce yourself, and then post a message asking if anyone wants to play WoG online--and if so, you arrange a time and place to meet (probably using Hamachi or ICQ or MSN or something).
