You forgot Diablo 2, a very succesfful game that is still going, it is one that should be up there.

What do you mean by "Age of" series? Age of Empires and Age of Mythology? or Age of Wonders series?

I mean at this board Heroes would obviously get the most votes, just like if you went to a GW board GW would get the most votes, if you went to heaven then MM8 would get the most votes, and if you went to a gay bar Sonic would get the most etc.

WoW i havent played but sounds like it is great. cost is prob though
guild wars sounds like WoW but cheaper (went to eb today, i think i saw an expansion coming out for this game  )
M&M. great series
UT i have to say is the best FPS game i have every played. although i have only played 1 but it was great.
Age of empires is alright but repetative. Age of wonders i liked alot more
C&C has always been solid but the last few games (C&C generals) simplified the game too much and the result was bad
HOMM, great throughout
D&D i take it would mean everything based on a D&D system like BG, NWN and so on.
for me it would come close between MM, HOMM and D&D

WOW sounds like GW but more expensive and far worse.

such threads have this problo that the wide most favorites wont fit in. Where is Thief series??? nay, you didnt think of that. you prob didnt even knew such game existed.
and as said above, giving MM and HOMM options was a bad idea.
may the Builder smite thee for this.

what do you mean with d&d? homm5 is also largely basesd on d&d. and warcrafts are based on it. so its really a pointless option.
and such poll shouldnt be. you can compare FPS-s, you can compare rts-s, you can compare rpg-s, you can compare turn-based strategies, you can compare net games, but its bad to put em all togethere here.
