There are many food ones.I especially love how vampires turn into dust.The way the unicorns'knees buckle before they fall.The furies that fall headfirst in the dirt and their daggers still in their hands.And of course the animation of the wights,as if they are sucked into another dimension,not realy destroyed

Haven't seen any "food" ones yet.  I have, however, taken special pleasure in the Way the Angels leave the battlefield in a shaft of light and go to Heaven. Very beatiful. A bit disspointing that they didn't do something similar for the Devils (making a nice blast or something - might even have been a very usefull special ability).

One thing is for sure, they're better than the average HoMM3/HoMM4 deaths. Personally, my top 3 is:
1) Angels, going to heaven (or actually Elrath) is beautiful.
2) Vampires, gettign some kind of Blade death, but I like how it's done.
3) Djinns, being sucked right back in that lamp must be horrible, but it looks nice!

i like most deaths ( especcialy wraith, lich, archangel, vampire etc)
who said the vampires sword is better than the arcangels?
