Midsummer Nightmare - new Equilibris map
"Midsummer Nightmare" is an M singleplayer scenario. It should be played RPG style; as far as I know, it is one of two Heroes maps in which combat is needless.
Here's a sneak preview:
DESCRIPTION: Ajit has grown up in a caravan and raised as a thief. However, his dream is to become the greatest actor in Axeoth! Thus he has decided to act out the greatest battle ever - the battle between Gelu and Kilgor!
IMPORTANT: Before you start, please click CANCEL, then OPTIONS and choose REPLAY CINEMATIC!
You start as a single Bandit, so for starters you'll need a horse...
There is a catch, though. You cannot play it yet.
The scenario was created with the 3.6 alpha editor. I submitted it to the mapmaking competition a YEAR ago. Sadly, not only has the Equilibris team failed to release the 3.6 patch, but they also haven't announced the results of the contest.
Once they've updated their homepage, don't miss the huge last update of the great mod.
The "read me" file contains additional information, including the FAQ and spoilers.
Here's hoping you'll be able to play it soon.

You won't be able to. Read the first post more carefully.

Sorry... but can you name any pages/maps you've made? I like your Heroes 3 maps so I think the Heroes 4 maps will be cool too.

Sure. I am the author of Truth and Justice, XL singleplayer scenario. You can read more about it here. (You can also e-mail me about the updated version)
By the way, all the links are available in my personal page, too.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing that screen in the "Aesthetics of the Adventure Map" thread in the Map Haven Guild. I'd love to try it out, but I don't have HoMM IV installed. (I have it [came with limited edition HoMM V], but I'm kind of nervous about trying it.)

It was an H3 map by Charles watkins... Can't remember the title. Sorry. Quote: I feel like playing H4 again, ooh goodie
Yeah.
The Equilibris team promised us new creatures and objects in the upcoming 3.6 patch, as well as several new scenarios. Here comes more shameless self-promotion.
