Problems with Crag`s campaign last map.
Can someone give me advices, how to win map Grave robber in Crag`s campaign. I hate that it is immpossible to eliminate enemy, because they are out of reach. And one way monolith near castle is annoying, all the time have to go back to defeat intruders.
Have to seize the Yawning Shield of the Dead from the "Hand of Death" Necromancers cult to win the map.

Could u describe the map a bit, so I can remember it better? I know the first, 2nd and 3rd map, but forgot how the 4th went. For me, the 3rd map was the toughest, so I'm sure I can help ya in the 4th. All played on 200% though...

Crag starts in NW corner with castle town. Not far is neutral town to conquer and jail with high level hero inside. There are three necromancer towns on map protected by guard towers with an unreachable guard tent(tent is near town behind tower). So you can't conquer theese towns. And towns all have a cover of darkness.In SE part of map is island on the lake. In island is quest tower which will give you Yawning Shield of the Dead(you need this to finish map) if you defeat necromancer Charnath. There are guard tents underground you have to visit to get Charnath. And there is one way monolith near neutral town, necromancers are comming thru it.

I remember that map pretty well even it's been several years since y've played it. I restarted the map a lot of times before getting it done.
1. don't waste ANY time. the enemy will attack week 2 (or 3). when you go to an area make sure you clear it of resources/arties, as you won't have time to get back
2. day 1. go to the NW corner and defeat the ghost dragons. you can take them with minimal casualties if you have tactics/air magic. make fodders to surround the stack of swordsmen and keep casting Holy Shout... the spell that damages all undead on the battlefield. you should be able to kill all dragons before they can touch the swordsmen. the dragons are guarding some magic artifact (dragontooth crown if I remember well and it will help you very very much later on)
3. be extremely agressive and conquer all mines... free Slash .. he's in a prison somewhere south.
4. take the second city and start building it. you can't get high level troops there but you'll need it anyway; money's also good.
5. after week 1 conserve spellpoints. run a tight game building in the first castle.
6. when the first necro hero comes, your goal should be to make him retreat while losing only a tiny fraction of your army. use mass slow and implosion on liches, then only ressurect.
the first 2-3 weeks are critical. try to survive with minimal casualties. venture north and collect some good resources/artifacts. townportal back when the necro come.
going for the necro artifact is tricky. around month 3, try to amass an army and defeat the high level necromancers (don't let them get away). this will allow you to move into his territory and keep them in check. make a run for the border guard tent (prepare for suprises ), and maybe the utopia there.
he'll atack you so you'll need to tp back.
make a second run to get the necro artifact you need to win the map
