A FEW GREAT MAN
... I mean REAL great man of History (including Women of course). Those are really hard to find. And often enough they dont get the respect and the honor they deserve. Additional to this many stay unknonw as they die for their ideals and cant fullfil the good thing for manchild.
If it comes to discussions about "Great Man in History", people almost always answer stupid things like Hitler, Stalin or Mao, cause they made huge wars. In the end they are plain stupid sacrificing people for their weird ideas and forcing them to fight for invisible lines on this small planet. Sorry, i dont have any respect for them and i throw **** on them, they may burn in hell forever.
Names like Napoleon or Cesar come into discussion. But in my opinion they are the same as the mentioned above, ruthluss dictators that brought nothing good to this planet and its people.Through the fog of history people tend to glorify them. Again those sick ***** dont deserve any respect and i throw **** on them, they may burn in hell forever.
The problem is that other "leaders" see that they only "get their place in history" if they win a war!! Like this little wanabe Ape Bush wanted his war straight from the beginng to become famous (9/11 unfortunately gave him a reason). So this idiot representing the USA does his war in Iraq now (which has nothing to do with 9/11) sacrificing peoples life only to become famous too. He deserves no respect and i throw **** on him, may he and his puppetmasters burn in hell forever.
Well, i already gave this idiots too much attention, LETS GIVE SOME GOOD EXAMPLES: HERES ONE GREAT MAN OF HISTORY:
KING JUAN CARLOS I. of SPAIN
Some may dont know him or only from the yellow press, so here is his story:
In 1936-39 General Franco established a Dictatorship in Spain, with help from Nazi Germany. He was inteligent enough not to ally with the Axis against USA&Co, so even he was a massmurder responsible for several genocides, he could keep up his dictatorship until he died in 1975, without being attacked by democratic states. Before he died he proclaimed a Monarchy dictatorship and wanted King Juan Carlos I. to be the dictator. Instead of this, this great man gave Spain a Democracy and Freedom (inlcuding freedom of speech)in 1977. What a great man! If you think about it, it is really strange that this old country has Democracy only for about 30 years now. Their Democracy is younger them me. In 1981 the Guardia Civil (about similar to the SS in Nazi Germany) tried to take over Spain again and establish the Dictatorship again. KING JUAN CARLOS I. immediately speaked to his people via television and ordered to resist them, that he is against them, and that he wants to re-establish Democracy again. What a great man! What REAL courage! I hope all Spains love him and show him the respect he deserves!!!
I wish the world would have more like him and less Ape Bushs........

You are mistaken on some parts.First of all you must define what you believe is great:A powerful character,a good person,a brilliant mind?
Hitler may have been a butcher but he was a hero for the Germans:He made them rise to power, got them out of tough spots and a suppressive treaty(can't recall its name),eliminated economic rivals(mostly Jews) and almost conquerered all Europe. And he started all this from nothing. He held to his ideas, made people believe in him and soom came to command respect and fear.A bastard but a successful bastard nonetheless.
Caesar was neither an evil bastard nor a benevolent guy.He was just a cunning tactician who sought to expand his empire and make a name for himself by any means necessary.Yet he never commanded a massacre, instead he imposed the 'pax romana'-peace under a roman empire which was ultimately beneficial to all.He built roads and created much in the lands he conquered, all the while respecting their customs.
Alexander the Macedonian was not as different in this respect and was definitely not just a good warlord. His work is known and has earned the title great.
One of the people I respect and deem great is Mahatma Gandhi.Einstein himself said that the future generations would find it hard to believe that such a man walked this earth. And with good reason:Through pacifism he delivered a whole nation never lifting a finger on the then oppressors, the British. He stoically accepted all the indignities and imprisonment(many years) but never acted on revenge. He made india self-reliant,made foreign countries sensitive to his plight and in the end gave the British no option but leave on their own.He tended to his people and tried to alleviate poverty, women liberation and caste equality. If that is not admirable I don't know what is.

Grok ( note this is almost definately not the real name, but it will suffice for this discussion since the real name has been lost to time. ) This level headed anscestor of ours discovered and implemented the use of "Fire" as a tool. Mankind crept out of the primordial darkness and began it's ascent to planetary supremacy dating back to Grok's first discovery!
Ur-Grok: ( note this is almost definately not the real name but it will suffice for this discussion since the real name has been lost to time. ) Ur-Grok was the first anscestor of ours to discover and use the wheel. Sure you can attribute the wheel to some bullsnow early 'civilisation' but I promise it was Ur-Grok that invented it and made it's use worldwide! Making mankinds inevitable ascension to the top of the food chain that much easier.
Both Grok and Ur-Grok can be credited as the greatest "people" to have ever existed. They invented 'intelligence and research' long before those terms could even be accurately applied to what they were doing.
Benjamin Franklin: he no more invented electricity than Grok invented fire. But his discovery of electricity and it's potential uses as a powerful tool continue to power humanity towards greater and greater acheivements.
Thomas Edison: while he is often credited with the invention of the lightbulb that is actually not the case. His invention was a reliable filament that led to the greater stability and nearly negligent cost of the common lightbulb and inevitably banished the heretofore useless nightime and turned it into a period of time equally as productive for humanity as actual daylight. Effectively doubling the amount of time humanity has to reach greater potential.
You can go nowhere in your life today without seeing, feeling and ultimately taking for granted the acheivements made by these four pioneers.
They are more than great, they are immortal!
just my 2 cents.
Edit: @Xarfax111...I can see you are still having trouble translating George W. Bush's official title into proper English from your native language. The factual address for him would be 'Mr.' or 'President' or even 'Mr. President' not "ape". I know you aren't a native English speaker so I can see how this can be confusing to you. Don't fret though, with practice I believe you can get it right. Hang in there, and good luck with your future translations!

“A great man” is one ,in my opinion, that does a number of deeds in his life for others that change the way one looks at themselves or the world. He may not a big name on television, a man that made the history books , or even someone that you have ever heard of. A man that sacrifices his own desires and wants to work a sixteen hour day so his daughter can have those dance lessons she has always dreamed of. When he heads off in the morning he kisses his wife on the forehead gently, as to not disturb her. Before he even does this he has sat at the edge of the bed and watched her sleep as he stroked her hair. He is the one that can recognize a women’s strengths and appreciate her without worrying about what his buddies will say. The man that has the extra dollar in his hand and instead of buying a beer after work, he places it gently under his sons pillow for that anticipated first tooth.
See when I think of great men that have touched my life or the lives of those around me in a positive manner, I think of men like my grandfather. A man that took time to tell me that I was someone and I would be something special. I reflect back to a neighbor that I had, he taught me how to rebuild a carburetor from the ground up, not because he had to but because he wanted to. My father whom has been sober for eight years and fought his struggling battle and he does it because he sees the pain on the faces of those around him. The man that was married and was a great husband and father to only be blind sided by a unnecessary affair and deception. He has to hold his head up everyday as he goes to work so he can pay child support in hopes of being a weekend father. He now has gone from what everyone would call the perfect family man to the man that cries for his family. A man that can talk about his x-wife who beat on him and beat him down, he finds the courage to sit before a counselor and reveal this and make himself vulnerable.
Men throughout the ages have been known to be the strong one, the one that never breaks. To me it appeals to every fiber in me to see a man that has no limits when it comes to exposing himself at his weakest moments. So even though all of these men that you speak of are great, in a way, my definition of great is just a bit different.

Facinating.
Napoleon was a man who wanted great power & a BRILLIANT tactician.
He took alot of Europe & he did not just go after one city or vountry.
He did it all brilliantly & effectively.
He had many great campaigns before crowning himself king but also diplomatically intellegent.
Unfortunately his military in the sea was not so great.
Julius Caesar was one of the first to influence many people.
He was not only a leader but he helped change Roman republic.
conquering lands early expanded Rome tremendously.
"Where Caesar Stands, ROme Stands "
He was as a strategic military genius just like Napoleon.
His men were also fast from building bridges to marching.
Just like Napoleon he was a great Politician as well.
He did lead many civil wars & won them too.
He also creating many creations like the Calender etc.
Still young even though not that young he was proclaimed
Dictator for Life.
He was murdered but it is also true.
Caesar & Cleopatra never did get married
