Well

I'm assuming the tactic is save the useless money on those useless angels and instead put it into training early makes ur hero much better faster but whether its a good enough tactics , well usually is - i do too never build those useless angels but if the map is rich enough i would build paladins as they are great units.

few battles have been fought, and this was the remaining army.
btw, just as a side note, some other game, "marksmen (400) hit titans 8800 damage" (without good luck)

training cost should be raised for this first phase of upgrading, imo, and trainig squires being, if not the same price, even cheaper to encourage using different strategies, or the marksmen will do all the dirty job. it's not a whine, they could be outmaneuvered ,but must be very very careful how u play and must have the army/spells that allow you to do that. they're still the game winners , imo, killing machine.

100% agreed, the most correct description of the situation as it is now.

Marksmen are beatable, but this indeed requires very, very carefull and some times even sort of dirt playing (e.g., hit and run strategy). Also the proposal for changes hits the point - training is not a problem itself, main problem is only first level of training (from peasants to archers).

I almost never agree to play all-random games anymore, as on 95% of maps this might lead to huge imbalances (exception is Ashes and Sands )

Albeit even with the situation, as it is now, it is possible to make fair games against Haven. All we need is really carefully balanced maps, which means at least:
a)limited amounts of gold;
b)boosted amounts of other resources, so that other towns have fair chance to build up their army.

He-he interesting thing...

But let's calculate Empowered (non lucky) implosion with shoes and SP 30.

1860 damage. Even Half can kill 90 marksmen that is equal more 10000 gold lose if they trained...

Seems i gladly play dungeon vs haven, ON THIS MAP, but i already have situation when Sinitar high levels and with Enlightmens have lvl bonuses to sp +1/+2 at 10+lvl.

Zilo and Betruger know that... And i also See Pime_Kala's Sinitar with 10 attack and 4 sp.

the problem is : ok ok marksmen very good at close range agree with that, but how do u feel when 300 marksmen melee the shadow dragon killing 18 on retaliation? melee i repeat.
dont u think u need a keyboard replacement then? cause i definetelly changed due to it sno longer functionality

this is another chapter from that game

Hmm how is that even possible?  As I posted in another post.... In a recent game on same map vs. Arangar. His 754 Marks man was doing 50 ranged damage. So cant imagine how 300 could kill 18 shadow dragons with melee attack???

If one presumes, that Teacher had more or less typic Dungeon hero, that would count for no more then some 10 Defense. As we can see picture, pretty-boy Klaus has almost 40 attack.

Adding exp attack

Adding expert Counterstrike (knight's racial skill)

May be some Frenzy perk (+ 1 damage)

May be some Bloody Claw artie (+ 1 damage)

May be week of Might
___________

If all of this sums up...

Albeit I should admit, that getting lvl 27 and 40 attack by early week 6 is really, really good game from Valky's side.

no luck but having some buffs, righteous might and divine strength.
my hero had only 12 defense, it was level 26.

as a bottom line, i enjoy the game , even with such surprises

That was the remaining army after 2 battles.

The marksmen you see in there retaliated in melee and killed 25 shadow dragons w/o luck, teach lost count of the numbers as the keys from his keyboard were flying by

retribution, master counterstrike, battle frenzy, claw of bla bla, righteous might and divine strength (from the inquisitors).

Griffins weren't bad either

25 shadow Dragons?? You sure it wasnt week 13 instead of week 6.  Not even possible to get 25 Shadow Drags by week 6.
