I should think not. Maybe, but not precised. They think (more than the key creature). I think they dont feel (but everybody feels when they get killed). But maybe dead creatures laugh (ghosts).
There is a better anwser.

Sorry, I did not see the part mechanical. Could be mechanical, yes. So I suppose that is one anwser, but maybe they think? Or not.
This riddle has not got a precised anwser. It is for creativity. Lets examin all possible anwsers.

with the exception of vampires and liches (and maybe wraiths) the undead don't think. Laugh? their howls may resemble laughing, but is in fact nothing of the sort. And of course they don't feel - they're already dead.
Colossus and gargoyle are not mechanical, but they still were created by the wizards and probably suit as well.
And that's it I think.

I think you confuse us and perhaps you confuse yourself
Anyway let me try: The Sphinx Riddle? I mean, they kill you when you give false answer, right? (How ironic, a riddle about Sphinx Riddle who gives riddles??)

I think Duncan meant that the answer to your riddle is the Sphinx and his riddles.

Whooaah!! Can't believe how long it has been since the last time reading this thread. Just read the last two posts today. Sorry Vidoja! And Geny was right, I was attempting to answer your riddle with the answer "Sphinx"
Well, guess that doesn't matter anymore, as I'm going to post a new one. I'll write that one soon.

A New Riddle
Hi guys! Being my favorite thread, I’d like to contribute with a new riddle here. Don’t let this thread die I hope this isn’t too easy. Also forgive my English if I wrongly guide you, it ain’t my native language
OK, so here we go:
--------------------------------------------------
Two men and a woman were found dead on a dinner table with still plenty of foods around. Nothing unusual in that dining room, in fact it looked very neat. However the room next door was a complete mess. The dining room faced the backyard of the house through a window. Some plants were found in the backyard a little bit disorganized, which made the surface far from flat. What had happened in that house?
--------------------------------------------------
Who wanna try first?

They decided to get something to eat during a time they were working on some gardening. After fixing the food in the kitchen (which is the room next to the dining room) they forgot to turn off the stove all the way. It was a gas stove, so they died of asphyxiation.
Yeah I know that isn't the answer, but it could be with the scenario you have given.

I'll start with autopsy, as usual
Did their bodies have any external damage (cuts, bruises, burns, etc)?
Did they die from asphyxia?
Did they die from poisoning?

Hello Kooka
Was it the dead people that caused the disturbance in the garden? -- YES
@Binabik: The 'd' in caused makes a lot of difference, doesn't it? Anyway, you haven't given your shot man. You're usually good at this!
@Mytical: You know the rule, I can only answer YES or NO
