Cleric MOD compatible with 1.4 available?
I have happily been using the Cleric Mod that removes the ugly helmet from the Inquisitor back since 1.1. This MOD has been compatible with all version up to 1.3, and is partially compatible with 1.4 - however, now suddenly the Inquisitor Icon on the ATB bar has the ugly helmet back on. Now obviously, we can't do with that!
Therefore, I was hoping that someone had developed a 100 % 1.4 compatible version of this MOD? I have without success looked at the AOH mod section, and I have without success trying to locate the otherwise very helpfull MOD section of Elrath.com - that site is just SOOOOO confusion, how can you have a complete section there are no links to what-so-ever from the front page or menu? Well, that's besides the point, if anyone can help me, please speak up.

I repackaged it. Just redownload the file:
http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/downloads/mods/Cleric_en.pak
and make sure its modification date is 25/11/06.
It should work with 1.4 and 2.0 now. Tell me if you notice anything strange.
For anyone interested, my thought was that the files in the mod were superseded by the new p3c-data.pak files, that contains the same icons with later modification date.
As I analyzed at the time of creating the mod, it seems only the Texture and Model .xdb files are checked for modification time, the game keeping the later version. So I changed the modification date (to 25/11/06) on these:
/Textures/Interface/CombatArena/Faces/Heaven/*.xdb
/_(Model)/Creatures/Haven/*.xdb
and it works. I only did a basic check though, so again, tell me if you see anything strange.
Note that you should place the mod in dataa1/ if you want to use it with HoF.

Thanx Sfidanza, you're the best! Also for clearing up the points on MOD's in HoF. Btw, am I correct in my observation that you cannot access the old maps and campaigns through HoF, or did I do something wrong? This seems *very* stupid to me! And if it is correct, is there some way to circumvent it?

You cannot play the original campaigns with HoF (you have to launch original H5 for that), but you can play the old maps, scenario or multiplayer.
The only problem is that the dwarven heroes/artifacts/runes are not activated on most of them, but will be fixed in the upcoming patch 2.1. And if you don't want to wait, you can use the mod I made in the mean time:
http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/downloads/mods/Maps_HoF.pak
place it in the dataa1/ folder.
@siinn: You can already use the international version of the Cleric mod (no text changes):
http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/downloads/mods/Cleric_notext.pak
Je vais packager les textes en français et je les poste ici dans la soirée.

i've made a test yesterday. after installing cleric mod i wanted to change the name of cleric creature to "inquisitor".
i renamed the file.pak in file.zip then i unzipped the content.
i made my modificiation (a simple text change) and i zipped all into a new file.zip that i renamed file.pak!
BUT, even if the text has been changed as i wanted the creature's graphic is now corrupted! the inquisitor has his helmet again but the texture of the helmet is somehow his own bald face
do you have an idea about what i did wrong as far as i've only modified cleric.txt file
renaming pak into zip isn't a good tactic?
