Ehm, I need help putting creature into h3sprite
I have made a DEF but don't know how to add it into h3sprite, may someone tell me what I have to do

Download this file:
http://heroes.diaspora.ru/hmm3/addon/h3lods.zip
and unpack it to Heroes III\Data. Then make new .txt file and write in it:
h3sprite.exe @xxxx.def
del xxxx.def
(xxxx - name of your .def file)
Save file and change its extension to .bat. Then put this file and your .def in Heroes III\Data and run .bat file. Enjoy!

How to change extension to .bat. ?
I think you can just type in a file name with .bat at the end when you save the text file.
Or, you can go into Windows Explorer, find the file, right-click on it, and choose "rename". Then type the new name with .bat at the end.
If you don't see common file name extensions in Windows Explorer, go to the "Tools" menu and choose "Folder Options". Then click on the "View" tab and make sure the option "Hide extensions for known file types" is NOT checked.

Put that .bat file with the command you typed in (h3sprite.exe @filename.def) plus the def file you made into the Data folder (that's where h3sprite.lod is) along with h3sprite.exe (the program that inserts the def into h3sprite.lod) and run the .bat file (double-click on it to run it). The def file has to have the same name as an existing def file since you can only replace an animation right now (not add a new one).

Ok, here is DEF - file name: Ccdrgn
Here is the eh... txt name: h3sprite.exe @ccdrgn.def.bat
What is wrong? How to make the TXT into BAT?

Download this : http://heroes3wog.narod.ru/Batch.bat
Put it into Data folder with def file, h3sprite.exe and h3bitmap.exe
and run it.it will work if your DEF name is ccdrgn

creature must be 256 colours,with a special pallete.(its first 10 colours must be special.)

Well, you asked me to help, but i dont see a problem itself. What kind of troubles do you have? Cannot insert the def? The game crashes after inserting? Or something else?

1. I didn't use creature wizard.
2. I used old palette for crystal dragon (Darklore, this is the one I also replaced).
3. I added.
