A strange problem
Hi everybody, I'm new here, and I apologize if this has already been discussed as some point, but I've searched all over the internet, and couldn't find an explanation.
I am playing Heroes III complete, and right now I'm on the "New Beginning" campaign from Shadow of Death, which has Jem, a sorceress (Rampart Magic hero), trying to beat up on some necromancers and what have you.
I'm on the second stage of the campaign, and I've come across a seemingly useless little plot of land:

As you can see, it's a few Faerie Dragons completely isolated on some magical turf with a few treasures around. I wouldn't think much of it if this was from a random map generator, but surely since this is a campaign, there must be a way to get to this area, right?

Don't bother, this is just a small "destraction" for the players. You won't need them resources, nor kill them faeries. Just a part of the map design.
And you should really hurry up...the longer u wait, the stronger the comp player becomes. Month 3 is pretty late...

Ah, thank you very much for the information.
As for the time issue, I think I'm probably in pretty good shape, though that image alone might not tell you so. I have 2 fully built/upgraded ramparts, 3 castles each about 95% built up, and a necropolis about 95%. And I'm about to take another necropolis without much trouble that is about the same as the one I have.. and I have about 18,000 coming in a day, plus the 10% interest each from the treasuries at the ramparts, and like 5 watermills within a day of various castles.
It's on 130%, so it's not like I had it all given to me.. I'm just a careful planner
But thanks again.. and just out of curiosity, would it be possible to reach those dragons if I had the "fly" spell?

Not even with the fly spell this area would be reachable, coz u still have to find a free spot to "land" on. And that's not the case.
About your 130% difficutly...
Not sure for how long u play Heroes3, but sooner or later u will discover, the comp plays really "dumb". Besides online gaming vs human players, the only challenge on single player is 200% difficulty.
But play your own speed...fun is the most important reason....then competition follows..
