Warhammer: Mark of Chaos
I got this game but I can't play it because my computer is too ****.
I'm getting a new comp soon so hopefully that will work out. From what I've seen it looks awesome, has anyone played it?
I got the new computer, this games so fun.
It tries to simulate Warhammer tabletop gaming I guess... it's a RTS with a focus on strategy rather than base building, resource management and macro. You have an army, which on the map you can upgrade, reinforce etc and recruit more, and then that carries through from battle to battle. It has a global money system which you gain as loot from the battle, but isn't spent in battle.
You can get loads of unique troops, all individual and more detailed than I've seen in ANY rts. The graphics are amazing.
THere's also this cool duelling thing you can do, where if two heroes fight they 1on1 each other where no one else intervenes, (if they challenge each other), where they fight to the death unless someone flees, and they use special duelling skills.
Anyway, it's cool. anyone got it?

The game's awesome. That's all I can say.
I wasn't disappointed neither as a gamer nor as a Warhammer fan. Everything's the way it should be.
They just should've included more races

i really enjoyed playing it.
they just missed out so much though. more chaos factions, more empire states, bretionia, wood elves, ogres, their was just so much!
lore wise aside, graphicaly its immense. i really love the customiseable parts to it, just like the real game, along with the paint an army section.
gameplay was good as well, with heroes on 1v1 duels whilst everyone else is one everyone else. nice work Blackholegames!

Yeah the main thing that lets it down is there's not enough.
It's begging for an expansion, could include Undead, Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Orcs and Goblins as a unique race as well as Dwarves.
And the battles are quite short lived also, though that can be a good thing sometimes.
Also, the more people in the battle, the smaller each individual army, so you can't have the monumental battles I was hoping for
Otherwise, really good, especially the graphics.
I like how your army carries on and upgrades each indidual squad, so you kind of get attached to your favourite hero and squad in the campaign.
