Merry Christmas HC
Here's my present to you all. A famous Christmas story twisted to suit the nutjobs that come here.
Enjoy
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through HC
Not a SPAMmer was posting, not even TNT;
The threads were posted in the forums with care,
In hopes that St. Valeriy soon would be there;
The members were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of red stars danced in their heads;
And RSF in his sox, and Pan in her MODhat,
Had just logged off for a much needed nap,
When there on the screen there arose such a clatter,
I clicked off from Heroes to see what was the matter.
I maximized the window and looked at the board,
Tore through the forums while holding my Mod Sword.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a shiny red turban, and a six pack of beer,
With a little old driver, so lively and swell,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Val.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;
"Now, Bob! now, Bob! now, Bob and Bob!
On, Bob! on Bob! on, Bob and Larry!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"
So up to the forums the coursers they flew,
With the car full of stars, and St. Valeriy too.
As I clicked on my mouse, and was looking around,
Through the Tavern St. Valeriy came with a bound.
He was dressed all in red, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with SPAM and with soot;
A bundle of stars he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his pack.
His eyes -- how they twinkled! His singing how…scary!
His cheeks were like milk, his nose kind of hairy!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the foam at his lips was as white as the snow;
The pole of a staff he held tight in his hand,
And the magic it encircled his head like a band;
He had a long face and a little beer belly,
That shook, when he sung like a bowlful of jelly.
He was long and tall, a right jolly old mage,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of his rage;
A wink of his eye and a twitch of his head,
Soon gave me to know I might have something to dread;
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And Spammed all the forums; then turned with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, through the Wastelands he rose;
He sprang to his car, to his team gave a yell,
And away they all drove like a bat out of hell.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-bite (of SPAM)."
