Cursed Artifacts
We've all heard about the arts that give some bonuses and also a few penalties, but these items for me are nowhere near as 'risque' as penalty only artifacts. In D&D, common cursed artifacts can only be removed by a spell (in most cases hard to find). Why do they not develop cursed items that cannot be removed from a heroes' inventory?

There were Cursed artifacts in HoMM1&2, the only way to get rid of them was to hire a hero, give him the cursed artifact and dismiss him (only to face him a month later as a part of the opponent's army, beat him and get all the artifacts, argh!). As this type of cursed artifacts weren't much 'fun' (finding one=paying 2500 for a new hero) they were left out of HoMM3.
I think some kind of cursed artifact should again be implemented in the HoMM series, but if one had to pay to remove it the cursed artifacts could simply be subsituted by you lose an amount X of ressources. The best ways to implement the in the game are: a) If you find one it immediately attaches to one of your body parts (any artifact that was on that body part goes into your backpack) and is only removable after a period of time or a quest has been completed. b) there could be cursed artifacts that simply stay forever in your backpack (you can't remove them, but they don't take up space).

I don't agree with the cursed artifacts. Even if they can never be removed from your inventory, there is also the Load option. Anyway, how would you get them?
1-pick them on the adventure map - why? If you know that the artifact is cursed, you won't get it at all!
2-defeat an enemy who has the cursed artifact - well, that is really bad. You can load, of course, but how will you defeat the enemy hero then?
3-step on a terrain where there is Event. And the event gives you the cursed artifact... But here it is simple - just load.
So the only problem is with point 2. But even here you can solve the problem - if you attack the enemy with a weak hero and defeat him, give your armies to a stronger hero and dismiss the one with the cursed artifact. If you have defeated the enemy with your strongest hero - load, send a weaker hero to that area, give the weaker hero your armies, defeat the enemy, give the armies back to the strong hero and dismiss the weaker with the cursed artifact!
Do you understand? Anyway, there is always a way to escape from the cursed artifacts. So why would they put them into the game?

Loading is not the issue: a) you can always load (eagle eye from a witch hut, lost battles, month of plague, crappy level 5 spell in mageguild, etc.), b) in multiplayer games against human players they usually don't allow you to load...
As for how to get them, cursed artifacts could be in treasure chests, tombs, graveyards, floating chests, events, etc....
